Lost Makes Bank With DVDs!

Hey, Academy! So, you didn't think Lost deserved any Emmys, even though it's been on for six years and was the talk of the water cooler since that damn plane crashed on that island?!
That's cool, whatever. We don't agree, but really, it was your call who won. But just so you know, the folks over at Lost don't need your stoopid trophy. They've got something better- $$$! (And loads of it!)
Following their big Emmy loss, sources are reporting that the sixth and final season of Lost released on DVD has been KILLING in the charts. It's placed at #1 for the best selling DVD of the last week in August!
Nice! What say you to that, Academy????

New B.o.B.!

yeah right like you actually followed this show Perez
but what does it have to do with it being good??? Season 6 was mediocre with some great moments and some horrible horrible episodes. Breaking Bad/Mad Men/Dexter all had way better acting and a better season. It was lucky it got nominated at all.
Sales equal quality? Oh, then I guess avatar was a masterpiece, not a steaming pile of dog shit, since it made a truckload of money, and should have gotten an Oscar. They deserved to lose for having an entire season that went further off the rails than the second season of Twin Peaks or the later seasons of the X-Files ever did.
What does sales of DVD's have to do with the Emmy's? The awards is for acting, production, etc.
i luv Josh he's mine
And since when do they have to give awards to something just for being popular and sell DVD's?
The Emmys SUCK but for other reasons…
the last episode sucked hard. seriously. I was loving the season up until the end when they threw everything away for a generic feel-good episode. blech! you don't know what you're talking about, P.
Quantity does not equate to quality Perez. This show was never nominated because it's not very good. It's entertaining, but not very good. Just like Battlestar Gallactica, which was also extremely entertaining, but shunned by the Emmys.
i hate this show with a passion, so glad it ended.
