Since the Jersey Shore started, all anyone in the Garden State can do is hate on the guidos an guidettes. Supposedly, how they act while smooshing around Seaside Heights is offensive to the delicate nature of New Jersey.
But leave it to a true Jersey girl to shed some perspective on the situation (and The Situation!)
Real Housewives of New Jersey matriarch, Caroline Manzo, was asked to comment on the shenanigans of Snooki & Co. and we think her answer should suffice anyone's criticism. She says:
"Everybody has their opinion of the Jersey Shore just like they have an opinion about our show. They're young kids doing their thing…We have to understand that they don't represent the state, they don't represent the culture. They represent themselves. If they make a fool of themselves, they're just making a fool of themselves. Do your thing."
Exactly! She gets it! How come the governor doesn't get it?!
Bravo, Manzo! As always, you are perfection! Perhaps a cross-over episode is in order! Wouldn't you love to see JWOWW go head-to-head with Danielle Staub?!

note to Perez: learn the definition of the word "suffice" …and then learn how to use it properly in a sentence. i.e. About twenty grammar lessons should suffice.

ooooohhh, caroline, so insightful! this sure is some high level thinking, telling people to "do their thing", she must be studying Neitzsche to come up with sh-t like that. perez, caroline is "perfection" ? - an uneducated woman living in a garish McMansion, spending her "new money" and raising a bunch of fully grown yet child-adult children who still live at home: one who aspires to be a car-wash/strip-club owner, one who goes to "cosmetology school" (read: too stupid to pick up a book) and another one who gets kicked out of law school b/c he can't hack it…errrr, has a *learning disability* - proud parent you must be, caroline…
Perfection? Really? This is a woman who lied to protect her adult sister from taking responsibility for her actions. This is a woman who refused her grown daughter a head of lettuce and a carton of milk while grocery shopping. This woman treats everyone like they are children and acts as if she is the final word on everthing. She has no credibility. No real moral code or compass. Fraud. Of course, Perez, you wouldn't pick up on the most obvious of contradictions in her personality.
