Wyclef Accuses Sean Penn Of Using Cocaine
What a sore loser!
Tensions between Wyclef Jean and Sean Penn haven’t gone away after Penn publicly criticized Jean during his bid in the Haiti presidential race, which he has been disqualified from.
Wyclef finally lashed out against Penn during a concert last week:
"I got a message for Sean Penn: Maybe he ain't see me in Haiti because he was too busy sniffing cocaine."
Penn’s reps responded immediately, calling Jean’s comments “highly irresponsible and false.”
"Mr. Jean is clearly unfamiliar with the physical demands put upon volunteers in Haiti. As aid workers there, the notion of depleting the body’s immune system thru the use of illicit drugs is ludicrous. More specifically, J/P Haitian Relief Organization (a.k.a. JPHRO) has a ZERO tolerance policy for any and all illegal drugs. As the leader of this organization, Sean Penn has not only set this policy, but adheres to it. That Mr. Jean would make such a false accusation is reckless and saddening, but not surprising."
How lame, Wyclef. You get kicked out of an election in which you never should have been running in the first place, and now you go crying to your fans and accuse Penn of drug use? Grow up!

Penn's reps' statement is not a denial of drug use.
Wyclef may also be taking a swipe at Penn's deceased brother, Christopher Penn, whose use of prescription drugs led to heart disease and his premature death.

Sean Penn is one of the greatest actors of our time. Wyclef is a loser who just wants to be in the spotlight.
Both are fame whoring assholes making themselves look good because of the suffering of others. Believe me these guys only see PR and future money not the human face. I imagine these two along with Bono pray every night for a disaster just so they can play the hero. I however believe Jean, Penn displays all the classic traits of a coke head.

Is this the behaviour of a man whose ambition is to be nations president? Look at how he retaliates when someone criticized him. He is so bittered with Sean Penn and he made a disgusting slander song as an act of revenge. Haitian people made a good call by not letting him to run for president. I never like Sean Penn, but he was right all along about this Wyclefs true colors. He criticized Chrysler too, because they refused to support him. Imagine what evil things Wyclef Jean can do if he becomes the president. Another Zimbabwes president in the making!

Re: Avalen2010 – I totally agree. He just shows how unqualified he is to be president by all of his retaliations and how immature he is being about the Sean Penn situation. Wyclef has no business running for any government position in Haiti, let alone president. I think him running for president was more about him boosting his ego and gaining power than helping and improving Haiti. I wouldn't even trust him to be the major of my hometown of 100 people. I find it amazing that he actually thought he was qualified enough to be president. Thank goodness he was shot down. Unfortunately, now we have to deal with his hissy fits. He's digging his own grave when it comes to showing how childish and immature he is. He's proving he wouldn't be a good candidate just by the things he says about Sean Penn. If he can't handle that small bit of criticism, I can't imagine what he'd do if a whole country started to go against him.

Wouldn't that be libel or slander? If it's proveable that a false statement has or could affect your bottom line, don't you have a case? Wyclef's statement proves that he's unfit for office, considering the mountain of unpaid labor Sean Penn is doing for Wyclef's fellow Haitians. I don't see Wyclef lifting bags of rice or pumping water in a Haitian camp for months on end for no reward.

I sort of feel bad for Wyclef on this one. He wanted to do something politically important, which he had the right to do, and then that fucking asshole Sean Penn comes along and starts running his mouth, effectively ruining Wyclef's chance at being president of Haiti. I really don't like Sean Penn, he seems like someone who would do anything to stay in the media spotlight. Fucking knob.
I'm no Sean Penn fan but he should be proud of himself for for helping save Haiti from having an immature unqualified loser as their leader in their time of need.
