Frasier Launches Comedy Network For Republicans
Frasier Alum Kelsey Grammer has launched his new station, RightNetwork, which is geared towards republicans.
We find this news inneresting, because Frasier always seemed like it appealed to a more sophisticated audience….and now he’s trying to appeal to republicans! Personally, we’d prefer the sometimes esoteric humor of Frasier Crane.
RightNetwork’s programming will initially be available through video on demand, Internet, and mobile phones. We’d still kind of prefer to watch old Frasier eps on our cell phones, but doubtfully maybe the network will be a viable news source, without a bias that is TOO hardcore.

I doubt that Mr. Hilton actually reads these posts, but I have to say. I am a proud Republican that has enjoyed your gossip site since you first debuted it. I am for free speech and respect your views, but I have to say that in the recent months it has really made me sad to see that you constantly view Republicans as ignorant and anti-gay. Considering the complete disaster that has been total Democratic rule for the past two years, I would think even Perez would jump on the Republican bandwagon at this point. After all, right now it is MUCH more cool to be a Republican than to be a Democrat. Who wants to be on the losing side in November, anyway?
This network will be another venue for right-wing demagoguery, because that's all they know. Listen to any of the right-wing radio propagandists today, and it's never about their ideas - it's about smearing democrats (usually just sophmoric name calling). It was the same when republicans had control as it was when dems had (and now have) control. No constructive ideas. No doubt, this venue will gripe and whine about everything involving politics, except how the republicans sank this economy. Instead, they'll blame Obama for not fixing it all at an unreasonably pace.

I have nothing against Republicans (generally speaking, anyway) and wish him the best of luck, but don't we already have enough partisan media? I wish someone would start a network that tried in earnest to bring people together instead of trying to divide them further down partisan lines. Or a network that targeted the ever-increasing audience of people who aren't enamored with either party and think the current crop of politicians/pundits' crybaby "blame-the-other-party-and-tell-my-party-what-it-wants-to-hear" antics are running the country/world into the ground.
