Ugly Betty: The Movie???
Could an Ugly Betty movie be on the horizon?
Here’s what America Ferrera’s had to say about the possibility of an Ugly Betty movie:
No news on it! I think that the rumor is well and alive — it’s always a possibility I suppose! But I don’t know about any plans.
At the very least, it sounds like Ferrera is open to the idea.
In the meanwhile, for those of us who need our America fix, she’ll be taking over hosting duties on the ninth season of PBS’s docu-series Independent Lens.
For those of us who like our America less serious, we seem to recall two separate movies about sisterhoods and traveling pants, both of which feature Ms. Ferrera.
Would U like to see an Ugly Betty movie?

um no that show got canceled for a reason
YES!! The show was outstanding and even though the last season had less viewers, it was an AMAZING SEASON. If a movie gets started and promoted right, it could be a HUGE hit.
And way to be behind Perez. News of a rumored movie started in April lol.

I loved Ugly Betty, but it doesn't need a movie. Veronica Mars still needs to be properly closed, however.

Please NO. I have had my fill of this girl. She really isn't a good actress at all. I do miss Becky and Mark. Put them in a sitcom together and it would be awesome.
I would go see an Ugly Betty movie!!! They could tie it into fashion week next year or fashion's night out. Thoughts?

We Want An Ugly Betty movie!!! The show was cancelled because they kept moving it around, so that no one knew when it was on. They gave them 5 shows to wrap it up.
I'm not saying the movie has to be on the big screen..but even on a channel like ABC Family. We want to know what happens with Betty and Daniel. I'm not totally unhappy with the way they ended it. It left it open to your own imagination.
This was a great show, with a very talented cast. Please make a movie…there are plenty of people who would want to see it. I am one of them..plus I will never pass up a chance to see Eric Mabius….or laugh at Michael Urie and Becki Newton, as Marc and Amanda.
There are so many fans that are mourning the loss of this show (ok!! ok!! I know what you are going to say. It's just a tv show.) It is a show that has inspired many people. It was funny. It was dramatic…and even cheesy sometimes. It was unique, and unlike anything on tv today.
Go for it!
