Last I remember you are not allowed to take a picture infront of the Mona Lisa. I guess they must have changed that.

  2. 2

Umm, hellooo? You're not supposed to take pics in the museum because it could damage the paintings, DUH! Stupid twats!

  3. 3

    Wow sluts strike around town.

  4. 4

Isn't there a rule about no flash photography near the Mona Lisa?

  5. 5

Did you know that it's illegal to take picture of the Monalisa !!!!

  6. 6

Oh wow they have matching nose jobs!

  7. 7

Ummm wow - way to potentially ruin a momentous piece of artwork. Wow. Da Vinci kinda takes precedence over you Kardashians. Fail.

Way to ruin the Mona Lisa..Idiots.

  9. 9

ok she's looking 45 and like her mother's twin - exactly like her mother, age, face, all of it - creepy! stop wearing so much makeup, kim! you're looking like an old burnt out brunette heidi! ew!

  10. 10

    Re: Good Karma

SO TRUE!!!!!! And Kris has GOT to stop dying her hair jet black!!!!! Ugh. She like 104 years old.

  11. 11

Why do they wear like 5 lbs. of make-up??? Yuck.

  12. 12

Pretty sure you're not supposed to take flash pictures around the Mona Lisa. It can be damaging to the fragile and old canvas material;-(

  13. 13

wow they really are a*holes, but I guess they feel they are special and can take a picture of the Mona Lisa, who cares if it helps to destroy a masterpiece

  14. 14

Typical crass Kardashians. Showing off their matching "mysterious" …noses, I see.

The reflected FLASH is completely unforgivable. This trash might think they own Beverly Hills but they don't own the Louvre and the world's art. And really…haven't they ever been to a museum before?

  15. 15

Re: amw8200 – Yes there is. I was there sept. last year, and it's prohibited to take pictures with flash in the 'whole' museum not only to the Mona Lisa

  16. 16

it is supposed that you can't take pictures od the mona lisa not even without flash!! and they are even posing! there are guards to see who is taking they camera off, did they have special treatmeant because they are famous?! not fair!

  17. 17

Re: JForbes – yeah it changed, now it's possible, but u can't take pictures with flash anywhere.

  18. 18

Re: Christophe Marcoux-Pilote – not anymore, i've been there not long ago, and my friends were last month. Now the only problem is to get close enough to get a picture like they did

  19. 19

Re: paulina=dan radcliffe fan #1 – no special treatment. Now everybody can take pics inside to all the pieces, including Mona Lisa, the only rule, no flash. The only place from the main attractions in Paris where u can't take pics @ all and there's always ppl controlling is @ The Sacre Coeur, in the rest of them, u can take pictures until u brake ur finger from pressing the camera button

  20. 20

you are not supposed to use a flash camera in front of mona lisa, but hey, these are the KARDASHIANS.

  21. 21

If you take a picture of the mona lisa you are not supposed to use flash photography…the bright light speeds up the deterioration of the painting. Those Kardashians have no respect…no amount of makeup can cover up such trash.

  22. 22

    How tacky can you get?

  23. 23

Aww, they both have the same nose.

  24. 24

    P.S. Their hair looks unwashed.

  25. 25

Their level of tacky idiocy just keeps rising. I love it, reminds me of how stupid stupid can be.

  26. 26

Everyone else said it, but I will say it too since I'm an artist and am easily irritated by stupidity. You are not supposed to take pictures using flash of these paintings, it causes the paint to dull and deteriorate. They tell you not to use flash as soon as you enter the door. Wonder why no one stopped them?

  27. 27

okay seriously everyone stfu with the whole "like Zomg! you're like totally ruining the mona lisa" godd you guys are annoying. them taking one flash feet away from the picture isn't gonna ruin it.

  28. @v@ says – reply to this

OH, look. An eyehole painting of the Kardashians.

  29. 29

Kardashains destroying art all over the world! :(

  30. 30

  31. 31

    Not you, Mona. You're awesome.

  32. 32

VERY uncool to take a pic in front of priceless artwork. Illegal. Lame. FAIL!

  33. 33

omg!!! where were the guards?! they should have hauled their plastic asses out of the museum BEFORE they got the chance to flash the monalisa!!!
    what a family of a-holes…
you should have said something in your post perez… so disappointing

  34. 34

    are you people stupid?
it's obvious this picture was taken without the use of a flash.
not shut your hateful asses up. god.

  35. 35

  36. 36

That is a flash. And it is reflecting very much EXACTLY where it would in coordination with the position of the photog.

And the painting is relatively small. Kim and Kris are really standing right in front of the painting. NO ONE else could have gotten a pic of the Mona Lisa without these two nitwits in all of their photos.

And these are Kardashians afraid of wrinkles. Like, they allow their photog to use a HARSH flash right on top of them? The room is naturally lit. And the flash diffuses if you (the photog) don't stand close to your subjects. You can tell that the Kardashians are DIRECTLY in front of the Mona Lisa but the photog is standing quite a bit back as to NOT create a flash showing their wrinkles or which perhaps would have washed out the painting. But the REFLECTED flash still shows. Like a light in a mirror.

  37. 37

she kinda looks like the mona lisa

  38. 38

just whores and bitches promoting their whores and bitchidom!!!!!!!!!

  39. 39

Say what you like about her but this woman has a look on her face that is smoking hot … Kim Kardashian is not bad either.

  40. 40

If someone takes a picture of the Mona Lisa with a flash they immediately black out the painting. Stupid butt heads, I'm not sure how long they wait to turn the lights back on it. So I'm sure everyone in the museum were thanking them for that.

  41. 41

The painting is protected by a glass case (or plexi who knows) the flash is reflecting off the glass. I know people keep posting this but it is so incredibly rude. And I think the Kardashian's are beautiful. Look in the mirror at yourselves.

  42. 42

Geez…what hype. You say "Art" and and Kim K would probably say, " I was young and foolish. I didn't know any better…I wish him the best though."

  43. 43

thought you couldn't take photos of that — esp with flash…??

  44. mayi says – reply to this

I hope she gets a fine with taking a picture with flash in front of that painting.

  45. melzy says – reply to this

    They look excatly alike!

  46. 46

They have a screen in front of it to prtotect from flash photography, but what i'm wondering is, how the HELL did they get people to move long enough for them to take that picture! It is always crowded, literally with people jockeying just to get a good shot, not one in front of it

  47. 47

its nothing to do with the flash. they don't let you take pictures because they want you to buy all the overpriced crap on your way out. same goes for the cistine chapel, but we took some secret ones anyway! lol! if it was that delicate, it wouldn't be out for public viewing under all those lights.

  48. 48

OMG, how many nose jobs do you think they have between the two of them???

  49. 49

Um ok…so clearly no ones been to the Louvre, the Mona Lisa has a glass case around it, so pics wouldn't ruin it, but I haven't been in like 10 years, so maybe it's different.

  50. 50

  51. 51

What MORON used a FLASH on the Mona Lisa? That is so incredibly damaging to a deteriorating, priceless piece of art! These bimbos should have more respect for art/culture/history. Stupid whores think they're important enough to justify that? Um, you're only famous due to a porn tape, honey. Get over yourself.

  52. 52

DaVinci is rolling in his grave.

  53. 53

Re: heygirlheyx716 – I study art history, and while one flash can't completely ruin a painting, it does cause quite a bit of damage. A 500 year old piece of paper can be damaged by only 1/16 of a second's worth of standard lighting. A flash is obviously much brighter and longer, so it does significantly more damage. It is difficult enough to restore and preserve these priceless works, so using flash photography is a slap in the face to the people who work to take care it stays in good shape (as well as the artist, and future generations who will not get to see this level of quality).

  54. 54

Re: HeartsContent – Light travels through glass. So, yeah, it does damage it. It gets damaged by regular light, too, but they can't hide away all art on that basis- there'd be no museums and it'd defeat the purpose of creating art in the first place. It's just that the flash contributes much more to the deterioration.

  55. 55

Stoopid American trash! No decent person would ever take a flash photograph of a piece of art such as the Mona Lisa - except for these 2 American trash women! But I guess the French were not surprised at all….

Kim may be after a part in a movie about the Armenian Genocide. Does anyone know anything about this? I get advance copies of novels to review. A woman emailed me this after reading my review: "Read your review of GARDENS OF GRIEF by Boston Teran. Though i was spot on. By the way, I heard Kim Kardashian is hooke up with some major producers who want to make a film about the Armenian Genocide, and is trying to get he film rights. She's going to some big time stars who are friends to commit to it." Want to post it with my reviews, but need to confirm it. Can anyone help me with this? I googled the woman - she worked for CNN /Turner for many years. The projct is real… his prequel to this is already at Universal. Is Kim involved?
