Drama At MJ's Grave!

Some of the most devoted fans in history are those of Michael Jackson, so it is no surprise that the fans have come out in droves to shower his mausoleum with gifts.

The staff at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, CA have realized the commodity that they have with the King of Pop, so they've decided to bank on it! Now, if you want to bring MJ a gift at his gravesite, the staff will gladly take it to him for you - for a $3 surcharge.

This new gifting policy is now the only way to have tokens of affection brought into the singer's mausoleum. And by that, we mean flowers, because the new rules also state that anything but flowers, meaning candles, teddy bears and shrines, will be immediately tossed. And, should the tomb get a little crowded, the flowers will then be placed outside of his final resting place.

Hmm. We don't think too many fans are going to be happy with this arrangement. We're ready to hear all kinds of backlash!

    prayers are free…

I have never heard of anything, ANYTHING like this. People are still taking advantage of Michael, even in death. They think of all kinds of ways that they can make money off of poor Michael even in death. It’s sickening to me!

  3. 3

if you're a naked 12 year old boy you'll be given VIP treatment to his gravesite.

@bongo dude you are so desperate! get a friggin life, u are in every single mj post hating.
Anyways! wow just another bunch of nasty witches who found a way to milk this man for money, unbellievable. But its not like 3 bucks fee is gonna stop any mj fan from giving gifts, although its still unfair. RIP King of pop, hearts and minds.

  5. 5

Forest Lawn should be charging more than that! Any moron that brings flowers to the deviate pedophiles grave needs to have their money taken from them!

  6. 6

I do hope the gifts are not "tossed", but donated to hospitals or homes.

^ Hater, hand over your money. Since your logic is flawed, you must be a bad person who has no other admirable talents as well.

  7. 7

    wow thats sad

  8. 8

He's buried in the "Under 10" mausoleum.

  9. 9

MJ is the King of course he has the best fans in the world! But this is charge is lame.

  10. 10

they have always had a fee, they just bent the rules for a while. forest Lawn is an expensive place.

Educate yourselves. The TRUTH is available for those who want to know THE TRUTH. Unfortunately, there are many more who would rather join in the evil of spreading lies and untruths because they buy into what the media tells them. When the jury was asked about the verdicts, they replied "the public didn't see what we saw and didn't hear what we heard." They're right! We DIDN'T! But we should have! The media are lying manipulators whose only interest is ratings, not TRUTH! DA Tom Sneddon was caught red-handed in the courtroom planting evidence that didn't exist. Janet Arvizo (the boy's mother) is the one who went to jail after the trial. Jordan Chandler fled the country to avoid testifying rather than finally taking the perfect opportunity "under oath" to put away his abuser. Read the TRIAL transcripts, that is where you will find the truth. Educate yourselves and please stop spreading these lies about our greatest American Treasure that was stolen from us by the media. Michael Jackson did more for people of all ages across this globe than anyone else will ever do in a hundred lifetimes.

ichael had a genuine love and concern for people of all ages, all races, and he dedicated his life to trying to make the world a better place. He spent countless hours honing his skills, perfecting his moves, mastering his God given talents just to bring us joy. I'm so ashamed of the way he was treated in return. Taking the one thing that Michael dedicated his life to and using it against him in the most sinister context was a crime. The media capitalizing on it was yet another crime. 40% of audience/viewers believing it was shameful. Those who continue to spread the lies are beyond comprehension and logic. The "accuser" and his entire family all admitted under oath that they had LIED UNDER OATH in a previous lawsuit alleging sexual abuse by JC Penny guards; a case in which they swindled $150,000 out of JC Penny. Again, read the trial transcripts and learn the TRUTH based on the FACTS that came to light UNDER OATH. Make that change for the sake of The Man In the Mirror and other lives that you might have influence over.

if they use the money for upkeep its a good thing

  14. 14

It just amazes me how people will try to profit from anything. It disgusts me how they would profit from fans mourning for the favorite singer!

  15. 15

Instead of wasting their money on stuff to leave that will be tossed or stolen, why not contribute to a charity in Michael's name?

  16. 16

First of all that is a bunch of bulls*** to do. Michael is looking down from heaven hating that I'm sure. I'm not surprised they would do this though. They know our dedication and is banking on it.

Re: jimblake62 – Exactly! I'm now reading "Michael Jackson Conspiracy" by Aprodite Jones for the 3rd time. I read it soon after it came out because I knew there was alot of information about that trial that wasn't reported by the media and Aprodite proved that by releasing the information from the ACTUAL court documents. @bongo @HateLowClassPeople and @Brainbug should spend less time on MJ post, and spend more time invested in this book.
Knowledge is power haters. Ignorance is shameful and unnecessary.

Re: bongo Re: Hate Low Class PeopleRe: Brainbug – Our love (the fan's) for Michael will never bring him back and we know that, but do you honestly think that your hate for Michael will overturn those charges and make him a guilty man? Get over yourselves… You need more L.O.V.E in your lives or something. While your out searching for that L.O.V.E that you obviously never had, make sure you seek out some information regarding those extortion plots that Michael endured ;) .

    Those schoolgirl days
Of telling tales, and biting nails, are gone
    But in my mind,
I know they will still live on and on
But how do you thank someone
Who has taken you from crayons to perfume?
It isn't easy, but I'll try
    If you wanted the sky,
I would write across the sky in letters,
That would soar a thousand feet high:
    "To Sir, With Love"
    The time has come
For closing books; and long last looks must end
    And as I leave,
I know that I am leaving my best friend
A friend who taught me right from wrong,
And weak from strong — that's a lot to learn
What — what can I give you in return?
    If you wanted the moon,
    I would try to make a start . . . but I
Would rather you let me give my heart
    To Sir, With Love
