Bullshiz, John McCain!

| Filed under: Icky Icky PooGay Gay GayPolitikJohn McCain

He should be ashamed of himself!

Click (above) to watch Senator John McCain vehemently deny that the military ever deliberately tries to uncover its members' sexual orientation, DESPITE documented proof that people's private e-mails have been searched.

It doesn't matter how many times you say it! It won't make what you're saying true!

Sickening.

what do you expect Mario he just changed his position on everything he stood for to save his senate seat…where was the tea party on that one?

I've lurked on this site for a few months and find about 95% of the stuff here is hilarious… but the whole argument that's presented about don't ask don't tell is sickening. So what even if they do search emails? Is it not against the law just the same as carrying a bag of marijuana? Do cops search your car? Do you get into trouble if they find weed? It doesn't matter how "unfair" it is, it's against the law at this current time. I was in the Army and knew a few gays… most of them agree that the gays that want to be openly gay just want to do so for special recognition or special treatment. I never openly talked about my heterosexual lifestyle because it's not something that needs to be disclosed or discussed in the military.

Gay or straight everyone is on the same page there, you're not supposed to be in the military if you're gay, you'e not supposed to be in the military if you're mentally unstable - but both still actively join and lead effective careers in the armed forces… it's not just gays that are targeted, it's a whole spectrum of people that aren't fit to serve based on multiple factors. I knew a guy that had all of his teeth removed because the level of decay was so much that they wouldn't have enlisted him otherwise. Get off it already, sheesh. if you want to serve you are going to have to make sacrifices, 90% of the people do, any recruiter will straight up tell you not to list ANY medical history - even a cold - because the military is SO strict on SO many different levels. The military has MUCH bigger issues than gays wanting to tell people they're gay.

I would have to say it bullshit from personal experience. I was in the USAF in the mid 90s. One of my best friends was gay. I'm talking super gay. So gay that RuPaul would have told him to tone it down a little. I have no idea how he even got it. He was a great guy though, and all of the chicks loved him. He would always call us when his girlfriends were coming over so he could hook us up. He was never asked, and he never told anyone of authority. He served his tour and got out. Last I heard he was doing a drag show in New Orleans. I knew others, both men and women that were gay and nobody ever said a word about it. Get off your soapbox porky. Nobody cares unless you're shooting your mouth off.

As a military wife, I can state this with absolute certainty.

I understand how DADT is wrong. I feel no one should have to hide, BUT if you are sending emails to ANYONE from a military or government email address, your messages are likely to be scanned through. For Operational Security, most emails are read. There are people whose job it is to ensure that you are maintaining a certain level of security in your messages back home.

So guess what, it is this simple. DADT is still in effect. In general, the rule is, if you don't want someone to know something about you, don't send it out on your military or government email address.

John McCain is one very sick & evil man!

  7. 7

I don't get it - why do gays have to wear their sexuality outwardly - why does everyone have to know who's gay? Is there no privacy anymore?? Heterosexuals don't go around touting their "straightness" - why do gays have to tout their "gayness". Let's just all live and let live.

    He needs to retire.

  9. 9

the democrats have enough majority in the senate to have gotten it repealed…there is no blaming this one or any bill that passed or hasn't passed on the republicans…they simply don't have enough seats to stop anything

  10. 10

shut up perez….no one looks to u for your "Political voice" u dont know shit

  11. 11

    Re: stellarburrito

How about the gays who do not live openly but are found out and told on? Do you think it is right for them to be booted out?

  12. 12

    Re: perezisanidiot3425

Hi! I agree if someone is using a military owned computer, it is owned by the military. That's just like my computer at work. My employer can look at anything I send/receive because it's not mine.

  13. 13

Mario, no one take you seriously. Please stick to bitchy gossip and hating.

  14. 14

john mccain is insane. and a liar. or an uninformed DICK Old Ass. Screw him.

  15. 15

Is he supposed to say the Military seeks out gays? come on Obama would lie too, any politician would, yur so freakin stupid.

  16. 16

I can't understand why John McCain does not retire to enjoy all the money he and his wife have. He needs to relax and leave his job to a younger, less confused Senator. We need fresh leadership with new ideas. Obviously, the old ways are not working for America, at all.

  17. 17

Re: Wild-Guitar – How about the drug dealers that are told on and get raided? Should they get a "break the law free card"? Only give information to people you trust if you're going to break the law, you don't get any decoration for reporting a homosexual so obviously they wore their gay flag around the wrong person. No matter how unfair you think it is, it's the law. There's a reason they're banned from service, look at this guy perez hilton… ANYTHING that isn't FOR gays is against them and that's the mentality I see with most of them. Even if the shit has NOTHING to do with gay people, if it's not tailored to fit some sort of "gay people is rocks hehe" clause into it, it's a big ass pile of hate towards them.

  18. 18

    Re: stellarburrito
You're right about that. I had knee surgury years before I went in. The recruiter not only told me not to say anything, but also told me to get a tan before I went for my physical so the Dr could not see the little scars.

  19. 19

Re: stellarburrito – So let me get this straight, according to you being gay is like a disease?

  20. 20

Re: Ohiogirl – Exactly how will they go about "touting their 'gayness' "? Because in your sick mind gays are feminine and say
"hey girlfriend" or just manly butch women. If that's your best argurement then maybe you should keep your mouth shut? These are proud American heros who are risking thier lives for this county! Gay or straight thay deserve respect!

  21. 21

I SUPPORT DISCRIMINATION AGAINST GAYS BUT IT IS FUNNY TO WATCH MCCAIN. HE THINKS BECAUSE HE WAS A BAD ENOUGH SOLDIER THAT HE GOT HIS ASS KICKED AND CAPTURED BY THE GOOKS, THAT HE IS SOME KIND OF MILITARY EXPERT.

  22. 22

HE COMES OFF AS STUPID AND INSULAR AND TOO OLD TO BE WORKING. BUT IM GLAD HE IS AGAINST GAYS, DEFENDING THE ARMY AGAINST HOMOSEXUALS

  23. 23

Re: ItsBabyBitch – I'm saying it's worse than a disease. People with diseases don't cry and mope and want to be put down. People with diseases like bi-polar or other chemical problems are happy to be in, they don't want to flaunt their condition and be recognized for it - they want to be recognized as a soldier. No on but the gays need confirmation from other people as far as this shit goes. What's the difference if you're gay or not? Like I said, you know it's against the rules, they have a clause that allows you to still be in… shut the fuck up and let them let you break the rules. Can't expect much from someone named "itsbabybitch"… I'm sure you've never done anything patriotic or even proactive. Sit here and play superior and put people down while they fight for your freedom to trash talk them, that's the spirit… what a fine example of an American!

  24. 24

    It seriously could be senility.
Mike Almy was on The Rachel Maddow Show last night responding to this exchange: Almy testified in front of McCain about how he was discharged from the military based on information obtained from his private e-mails.
As Almy concluded: McCain either did not remember, was never paying attention during the Senate hearings, or was being deliberately misleading about how the military is enforcing DADT.
McCain used to be a pretty decent Republican, but the recent shift to the right of the Republican part, evidenced by all the tea-baggers winning primaries, and McCain's own recent challenge from a super-right-wing bagger in the AZ primary have seen him caving in the pressure; where he used to stand up for what was for he believed was right, even if it went against his party, he seems unwilling (or unable, i.e. senile) to do so.

  25. 25

I dont understand why you want to let everyone know you like the same sex? Like why should that be a part of the military? your there to go work, not talk about your sexual orientation. I agree with him, Gay people are great but like, why the hell would you want that to be a part of the military? It's just safer for gay people. He's probably saving your ass

  26. 26

I hate hate hate this crap of politicians who will NOT answer a G.D. question with a straight answer. He knows it is being done, and he just sits there and repeats "not policy" like a fing idiot. He needs to get the hell out! The only proper place for this man is a coffin.

  27. 27

Re: VeganVal – So much ignorance on here… he is saying it is not military policy to search private emails to find out if someone is a homosexual. It's not POLICY… if someone did it, so what, they were obvious on a machine that didn't belong to them therefore they can't bitch. Almost every website where you interact on a personal level reminds you to never do things too personal or save passwords on a pc that is not yours. Get out with that ignorant rambling.

  28. 28

Re: stellarburrito – As all your trollish posts here confirm, you are very, woefully, ignorant about an issue that you should be more informed about as a veteran yourself. Research the Mike Almy case if you'd like to educate yourself.

  29. 29

Couple extra votes and this guy would have been the Current president of the united states. Grats voters for Mc Cain this is what you wanted. This gentlemen needs to find a nice retirement home and shut up on current issue's he clearly knows nothing about.

  30. 30

People make out like the Military policy of DADT is the most evil thing one has ever seen before. How about you idiots start asking our Government more important questions like what the hell are we doing in Afghanistan and that we want our troops sent home from over there NOW! We should NOT be over there!

  31. 31

Keep DADT intact. Theres more important issues to be dealt with.

  32. 32

Fuck you McCain! Your comment is a slap in the face to so many abused troop members! for Shame your outright lies are! Perez keep this up we need to rally voters, this anti gay oligarchy has got to be destroyed.

Wow. That's not what 13 year soldier Mike Almy says. He says he was discharged after the Air Force read his e-mails, and is DUMBFOUNDED by McCain's comments. It's on Huffpo, search Mike Almy. It's very disturbing and sad as hell.
