Linkin Park Hits The #1 Spot!
Linkin Park's album A Thousand Suns has reached #1 on Billboard charts, with 241,000 units sold! Good job, guys!
Coming in at a close second, was Trey Songz' Passion, Pain, & Pleasure, which arrived at #2 with 240,000 sold.
Linkin Park's previous album, 2007's Minutes To Midnight, sold 623,000 units, and debuted at #1. Okay, so that was clearly more of a success, but hey! Linkin Park are #1, and that def counts for something.
As far as singles are concerned, their hit song "The Catalyst" will hit #27 on this week's Billboard Hot 100.
All right Linkin Park, you guys are doing well, but you COULD be doing better. Don't get complacent!

Love their new album. Never listened to them before, but I had to review their album for work, and I was mightily impressed. I have no basis for comparison though, which is probably just as well.
