Paris Hilton has flown back to the U.S. after being denied access to Japan.
Makes sense to us. Why would she want to stay in the country when she’s not wanted? Plus, now she’s on their radar, so it’ll be WAY more difficult to smuggle drugs home after her tour. Lame!
As officials in Japan decided whether or not to allow her access to the country, she was forced to stay at a nearby hotel, but she decided not to wait around for a decision.
She cancelled her entire tour of the Far East, where she planned on promoting her new chain of fashion shops and the launch of her new fragrance.
Here’s what Paris had to say about her early departure from the country:
"I'm going back home. I look forward to coming back to Japan in future and I love everyone and can't wait to see my fans when I get back."
Here’s a Tweet from Paris, while on her plane home:
"About to take off. Going home now. So dissappointed (sic) to miss my fans in Asia. I promise to come back soon. I love you all! Love Paris xoxo."
Here’s a statement from one of Paris’ reps:
"Paris Hilton has decided to return to the U.S. after a lengthy delay at Japanese immigration. Paris is very disappointed and fought hard to keep her business commitments and see her fans, but she is forced to postpone her commitments in Asia.
More from the rep:
"Paris understands and respects the rules and laws of the immigration authorities in Japan and fully wishes to cooperate with them. Paris looks forward to returning in the future to a country she loves and has been coming to for the past 10 years."
No word at this time on whether or not she was officially banned, or whether she left the country as a preemptive move.
Do U think she would have been allowed into Japan, had she stayed?
