Since breaking free from Girls Aloud and going solo, Cheryl Tweedy has definitely hit some bumps in the road, as well as receiving some amazing opportunities!
In her upcoming autobiography, Through My Eyes, she discusses her personal journey over past few years, as well as her time on X Factor, and her relationship with
GayFace Derek Hough!
On going solo from Girls Aloud:
"It’s a very different feeling being out there on your own. Slowly but surely I’m finding my feet. It was scary and exciting at the same time, but definitely felt the right thing to do."
"Derek is a sweetheart, the kind of person who makes the day more enjoyable. And that’s really important when you’re on a set doing a video for 18,19 hours – maybe longer."
On her relationship with her mother, Joan:
"She’s the most grounded person…I can be hysterical and she’s like ‘Calm down, what’s wrong with you?’ She’s absolutely brilliant if I’m feeling the pressure."
We hope our Chezza can keep her career moving forward! Maybe she'll be bale to break into US mainstream with the new X Factor and album!
Fingers crossed, bb!
