J.K. Rowling Opens Up To Oprah!

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling sat down to give a rare interview on The Oprah Winfrey Show, set to air Friday, in which she discusses coping with the fame her world-wide beloved series brought her, the pressure to please so many fans, and according to Scholastic, Inc., "the possibility of ever writing another Harry Potter book in the future."

Rowling reveals:

"You ask about the pressure. At that point, I kept saying to people, yeah I'm coping … but the truth was there were times when I was barely hanging on by a thread."

Wow! We can't say we blame her, though!

We couldn't even imagine trying to satisfy so many expectations with each new book!

We're psyched! This interview is going to be epic!

I hope it gets posted online. I love her. I bet it was stressfull having such a successful series of books and then agreeing to write a new one every two years what about the writers block? Writing is incredibly stressful at times.

Yes, because it's just so hard having a bestseller and finding yourself financially uber independent. Puuulllleaaaase. I can feel her, but I can't quite reach her. Try living in a flood ravaged decimated area of Pakistan for a couple of weeks. Try helping other single mothers who are still sitting at their kitchen tables after being left, but having no writing skills and not knowing how they're going to provide for themselves and their abandoned children.

Not to seem like there's no empathy for someone who's made a fortune, as money certainly doesn't solve certain troubles, but can also create problems.
It would take some time to readjust for sure…
