Texas Teen Kills Himself After Years Of Gay Bullying

| Filed under: Icky Icky PooGay Gay GayR.I.P.Sad SadLGBT

This is just awful. Our heart truly breaks for this poor family.

An eighth grade boy in Texas killed himself last week after years of bullying from his peers over his suspected sexuality.

Asher Brown's family claims that he was "bullied to death," and that although they addressed their concerns with his school, Hamilton Middle School, administration did not intervene.

School district spokeswoman Kelli Durham claims, however, that they received no bullying complaints from the family nor any students.

His mother and stepfather, Amy and David Truong say:

"We want justice. That's absolutely inaccurate — it's completely false. I did not hallucinate phone calls to counselors and assistant principals. We have no reason to make this up. … It's like they're calling us liars. The people here need to be held responsible and to be stopped. It did happen. There are witnesses everywhere. Our son is just the extreme case of what happens when (someone is) just relentless."

The bullying of Brown allegedly went on for over two years, and escalated the day before his suicide when he was pushed down a flight of stairs and had his book bag kicked open.

The following morning, Brown revealed to his stepfather that he was indeed gay, and although Truong "didn't condemn," that didn't stop the teen from using a 9mm Beretta to end his life later on during the day. He didn't leave a note.

Truong says to her son's bullies:

"I hope you're happy with what you've done. I hope you got what you wanted and you're just real satisfied with yourself."

This story leaves a massive pit in our stomach. That poor kid.

We sincerely pray that this teen's story will force others to stop and think before they put someone else down for something as petty as sexual preference. NOBODY should feel less worthwhile than ANYONE ELSE, especially over that.

And for any young people who feel confused, alone, and picked on over feelings that they probably don't even have a full grasp on yet, PLEASE try to keep your head held high and stay brave. We PROMISE you that it's not an easy journey, but you will get there, and be all the better for it in the long run! You will meet people who will LOVE you and ACCEPT you, just as you are, and you will be MILES beyond all of the people who once made you feel like there was something wrong with you.

Just be patient! It GETS BETTER.

Our deepest condolences to Brown's family and loved ones.

Poor kid. I hope they fry the fuckers responsible.

  2. 2

His parents are partially to blame for leaving a loaded 9mm where a 13 year old could access it.

  3. 3

"NOBODY should feel less worthwhile than ANYONE ELSE"

maybe you should stop picking on people before one of the celebs you trash daily puts a gun in their mouth. just a thought.

  4. 4

while i can't feel enough sadness for htis young man, please remember kids who kill themselves from being bullied and they are NOT gay. why label bullying. it is what it is. don't labe it gay, straight, black, white, disabled, jsut univesify it as bullying! drop the label perez. it's nto as effective.

  5. 5

My heart breaks for this little boy. I have an 8th grade boy myself and I can only imagine how his parents feel. I hope he is at rest now and that the bullies live with this the rest of their lives.

  6. 6

Isn't it so sad that these kids couldn't even make it our of the damned schooled system to find out how much it actually does get better?

PEREZ! you are so TRUE AND CORRECT when you say IT GETS BETTER. School is ONLY the FIRST 12 YEARS of your LIFE. Once you're FREE you will become AMAZING! (and you'll get laid allllll the time, haha)

  7. 7

I am so sorry to his friends and family, I wish the world was more accepting of everyone. I dont care your skin color, who you love, the music you like or the clothes you wear, we should all love each other for who we are on the inside. RIP young man, you are in a place now where you will feel only love.

  8. 8

I hope they get the fuckers who did that to this poor kid. I'm English, and in our school the gay bashers used to get the shit kicked out of them.

  11. 11

Unbelievable, those mother fuckers that were told by the parents and did nothing should be prosecuted as accesories and the bullies should rot in hell. This kind of shit makes me wanna kill fuckers. That poor little kid died because he is perceived as different. I wanna throw up when thinking about this. What a sad realization that we have in this country where kids feel they need to end their life due to tormenting, about sexuality of all things. My heart breaks for this kids family and I hope those cocksuckers that were responsible get exactly what they deserve. Prison and ass raped!!!

  12. 12

you can blame these bullies all you want but he took his own life, they didn't put that gun in his hand and they didn't pull the trigger…….i was bullied (held up by my neck to a fence, followed/harassed/called names/etc on the playground, tanbark kicked at me, called ugly, the list goes on) and i'm still alive and kicking……and probably a stronger person because of it.

  13. 13

so sad.. kids can be so mean…

  14. 14

I feel bad for this boy and his family.

But isn't this exactly what you do Perez? What makes you different from the bullies? You sit behind a computer and bully people all day long.

  15. 15

I find it absolutely ludacrous that THE BIGGEST BULLY IN HOLLYWOOD is writing an article that comdemns bullying. Take a look in the mirror Perez, and practice what you preach.
My heart and prayers go out to this teen and his family, as well as any other teen, or any person for that matter, INCLUDING CELEBRITIES, that feel bullied by someone.

  16. 16

    this is just horrible. :(
i hate that someone jus a yr older than my lil sister was pushed to the limit of ending their life. I can't even begin to imagine what that family is feeling right now.

  17. 17

So terrible. What is wrong with people? This brought tears to my eyes. What a beautiful young boy, and a beautiful young life that was taken.

And what is wrong with some of you to judge him or his parents you naive, ignorant, rotten people. This is a tragedy. Open your eyes!

  18. 18

This is just horrible on so many levels! These type of incidents need to be taken way more seriously in the eyes of the law. The teen suicide rate due to bullying is getting higher and higher and it's like no one seems to care!

  19. 19

damn, why couldnt it have been perez????

  20. 20

What would get you to stop bullying Perez? You bully children, mind you they aren't gay because you would never do that. But you bully the hell out of young women. You would never take any of the blame if someone hurt themself… you epitomize hypocrisy!

  21. 21

    absolutely heartbreaking

  22. KKL says – reply to this

Thanks for picking this up so quickly - Our District has to be held responsible for turning the other cheek again and again.
As sad as it is, the stepdad should not have left a 9MM BERETTA anywhere near where this poor child would be able to find it. Still no excuse for the District's apathy…

  23. 23

    Poor baby. So sad.

I was a little confused about the step-dad's comments. He "did not condemn him"? What does that even mean? I don't think that's enough. Children who are different (gay or otherwise) need to know that they have unconditional love and support from their parents. If your parents are not on your side, who is?

  24. 24

Evil bastards…on the other hand…WELL SAID Perez!!!

  25. 25

Kids are bullied all the time. The first person the parents should be looking at are themselves.
How in the hell did an 8th grader get posession of an unlocked 9mm AND the ammunition used to kill himself? As a responsible gun owner, I'll say that is REASON #1 why the kid is dead: the gun.
You can't blame or "fry" every person that calls someone a name just because the person who got insulted was a complete basketcase and decided to end his own life.
One person to blame for this kids death - the kid himself. If you look anywhere else, it should be at the parents.

  26. 26

Re: hoochpit – Exactly! But I'm sure it'll only be a matter of time before the Westboro Crap-tist Church picket his funeral. Sad.

  27. 27

I urge you, Perez, to step back and look at your own life and your own site and the ways it which is "bullies" people/celebrities on a daily basis. It doesn't matter what the bullying is about, what matters is that you are, in the same way, picking fun, degrading, and bashing people without regards to their feelings. Whether it's a gay 11 year old boy, or a 30 year old celebrity, you never know the effect your ruthless criticizing will have on a person. Will it take a celebrity killing themselves because of Perez Hilton's relentless bullying for you to take it seriously? Just think about it. and think about the life you lead and the opportunity you have to really make a difference instead of constantly knocking down people.

  28. 28

i love the way this cycle works
you post this story on your site
then im sure either tomorrow or a day or so from now
Lady Gaga will have something to say about it, which will draw her even more publicity for gay rights and equality (which only serves to further her own agenda)
    and all sides are happy.
Its a nice little arrangement you have going with your "wifey" perez :)

  29. 29

@Truth above…It's not the Homosexuality that will kill you…it's the damned closed minded bigots that will….asshole. Grow a brain and stop drinking the Kool Aid.

  30. 30

Okay well the parents are to blame as well. They had a loaded gun and they kept their kid in a school knowing for 2 YEARS he has been constantly bullied for his sexuality. Parents, hello, if the school itself is doing NOTHING about it, then take him out… home school him or something! They knew he was depressed, knew he was bullied and unhappy and kept a loaded gun in their house as well? This is outrageous on the school and his parents. Also, it's so unfortunate that being "Gay" in school is still frowned upon. If parents and media would start accepting the "gay lifestyle" then these kids will as well, thus bringing less bullying.

  31. 31

Perez - You are no better than the people who bullied this kid. Day after day you ridicule every female (except GaGa) in the entertainment industry. You judge, make horrific comments, and are generally a nasty man. I guess it is ok because these are celebrities and you can hide behind your computer. But you are no better. And thank god no one you "torment" has taken matters into their own hands. But shame on you for playing the blame game on others when you are no better. I think I am finally done with your website.

  32. 32

Unless those bullies are some kind of superfreaks with no conscience, this is going to haunt them the rest of their lives. And I'm glad for that. School teachers and administrators only have so much control over bullying. They can counsel kids not to do it and discipline them if they do. But they can't hover over everyone every minute. It's just a very tragic story. I really think kids are extremely jaded today. They are bombarded with hateful, negative stuff (like this website) and a lot of them also have assholes for parents. Many of them are extremely desensitized to other peoples pain and feelings.

  33. 33

This coming from someone who posts shit about people for a living?

  34. 34

The government needs to step up and create strict laws against bullying in schools.Homophobia should be a crime just like sexual harrassment.A lot of gay kids are tortured in school and it got to stop.

  35. 35

I prayed every day to die when i was in school, because i was gay. The only difference is i wasnt brave enough to kill myself. I cant say im better off than he is.

  36. SF90 says – reply to this

I feel bad for the kid and his family but it's really weird of you to post some kind of inspiring words to people. Perez, you're one of these bullies. You keep trying to bully celebs out of the closet. You should take a look at yourself before you tell other people what to do.
It's also quite ignorant of you to tell people to be patient and that it will get better. If someone has been suffering for two years, all it takes is a couple of words to push someone over the edge.

  37. 37

Colour me unsurprised that this happened in Texas. So effing ridiculous that this kind of shit still happens anywhere in the world. I can't imagine any adult not noticing or realizing that it was happening and imo they should be charged with accessory to murder.

  38. 38

when will parents learn… if your kid is being bullied get him OUT of that situation. Move to another school–move somewhere else entirely. Better to move than have dead kid.

  39. 39

Re: truthabove – you are a fucking idiot -.-

  40. 40

Pretzel, please stop outing people before they're ready to out themselves. You may have kind words of support here, but you're no better than a school yard bully when you pull that shit yourself.

  41. 41

that is so sad i am reading and crying at the same time

  42. 42

What's the difference between the bullying done to this child and the bullying you do to celebs you don't like, Mario? Oh wait…you get paid to do it, so it's a career and not bullying, right?

  43. 43

I totally think the school should be responsible for his death. Bullying is unacceptable and the schools should have addressed this from the start….then maybe this horrific CRIME wouldn't have happened. I was bullied in HS and my name was written all over desk and in the bathrooms….the HS teachers/administration did nothing about it….they ignored it. I couldn't handle the constant harassement and quit school. School administrations need to wake up and stop this needless bullying and hopefully it will save lifes!!! Wake up people and take a stand against prejudice in the school systems!!!!

  44. 44

This truly sucks. And the worst sh*t is how schools always deny everything and how parents play clueless. Great job parents for teaching kids right from wrong and obviously schools as educational institutions did an even better job. Pis*es me off.
I hope the family stays strong.

  45. 45

rip lil' buddy. hope you are a peace…
and FUCK THOSE ASSHOLES that pushed him to do this!!!
    condolence to the family.
    so awful. :-(

  46. 46

    ridiculous. some places are unbelievable.
where i live the gay kids are so popular because they are the least scared to be themselves after what theyve been through, and so much fun because of it !

:( i wish he lived here. he'd feel very different.

  47. 47

When I read stories like this it just makes me sick. I hope the people that bullied this child rot in hell. Why anyone cares what someone else feels is none of tbeir business. God doesn't appreciate people who spew vile and hate as they hide behind him and his name. RIP young man.

  48. 48

Re: Mista Busta – - what a horrible thing to say - you should be ashamed of yourself!

  49. 49

a friend of my 17 year old daughter killed himself a few weeks ago. He wasn't gay. He wasn't ugly. He wasn't unpopular. He wasn't awkward. He wasn't bullied.
He was popular, had girlfriends regularly, played sports and was a state champion in one sport, had good grades, came from a tight knit, supportive family. Everyone liked him. Everyone wanted to BE like him.
Who can explain it… after a brief argument with a parent…. he went and hung himself.

  50. 50

Re: truthabove – - how sad that you have to wake up and be you every day

  51. 51

Re: PerezTheHypocrite – my daughter's friend hung himself a few weeks ago. Shall we lock up all the rope, too?
Although I absolutely agree that the gun should not have been left where the boy could access it.

  52. 52

So, its ok for you to bully, and not these young kids??? You at least should know better by now… but we all know that isn't true!!

  53. 53

Re: PerezTheHypocrite – First off, guns don't kill people, people kill people. There are many ways for a person to kill themselves, if the gun hadn't been there, it probably would have been pills or maybe he would have hung himself, regardless the gun itself is not blame. Second off how dare you call this poor boy a "basket case". He was picked on everyday for the past two years for being who he was. Have you ever expeirence anything like that before? probably not. So you have no idea what state of mind he was in when he decided to end his life.

  54. 54

People are so irresponsible. I hope the parents of these bullys feel the shame and I hope the kids that did this to that poor kid are sorry. I hope the family gets the word out and uses this sad story to inspire other gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender people to keep their heads up.

  55. 55

shame on all you who are still being bullies - and shame on those of you blaming the parents - i'm guessing you've never been bullied or made fun of - it's painful and heartbreaking and can truly break a child's spirit and impact their self esteem for life. words hurt worse than anything else sometimes - you should all be ashamed of yourselves.

my thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of this poor boy…

  56. 56

    Re: Kris221 – amen, sista!

  57. 57

Re: PerezTheHypocrite – Did you not read it? They did more than call him names. They constantly harrassed him and it even got to the point that they threw him down stairs, in case you don't feel like actually reading to get correct information. And please do not try to make it sound like they should be excused because you think bullying is completely normal and you think this kid was a "basket case." Imagine being that age and having the idea thrown in your face that you're less of a person simply because of your personal preferences. Its hard enough at that age, I can't imagine having to deal with tha level of ignorance at the same time. And on the bullying subject, yes kids will tease and say stupid shit, but we should not think that it is alright to raise children with this idea becuase obviously, some take it too far.

  58. 58

This is horrible, but so is the hypocrisy in Perez's tweets. He cries about bullying twice today, maybe he forgot what his "profession" is. ANYONE REMEMBER TINA FROM YOUTUBE WHO HE MADE FUN OF? Was she a celebrity, so "it's okay"? Nope, she repeatedly deleted things off of her account, switched accounts, and asked him to leave her alone. He did, finally, after growing tired of tormenting the same girl. Yet, this guy is trying to talk seriously about bullying today? I do hope they catch the people who did this and take them to trial ala Phoebe Prince.

  59. 59

Couldn't agree with you more on this one. You should post an article about Dan Savage's "It Gets Better" campaign. Unfortunately, Asher wasn't exposed to it sooner. FYI, gay teens are four times more likely to commit suicide.

  60. 60

I'm a gay male. I'm quiet about it, and I don't wave a gay flag or wear my sexuality on my sleeve. But I wish the FUCKING WORLD would wake up and realize that gay men and women do NOT FUCKING choose this lifestyle coherently by choice!!!!!!! WHY WOULD WE CHOOSE RIDICULE BY THE WORLD??? I was teased at times as a kid like this boy, and had to learn how to be extremely masculine without a dad, so it would stop. Bottom line is that gay bullying needs to be prosecuted to the FULLEST extent of the law so the people will live in FEAR if they do it. This kid did not deserve to die. And if he hadn't, he would have lived with years of psychological issues because of the bullying. I'm 36 and STILL deal with shit. Seriously people-we must raise our kids to love. We don't necessarily have to teach them to accept, but to love in words in action. We might have this kid around if this would have happened. What a tragedy. RIP little brother.

  61. 61

teens are 2 young 2 no for sure if theyre gay or not he was having thoughts

  62. 62

…shouldn't the real story be where this 8th grader got a loaded gun?

  63. 63

    i h8 gay bullying

  64. 64

Are you posting this, because the BOY WAS GAY????? BULLYING IS AN EPIDEMIC IN SCHOOL. The Federal Goverment will, again, rush to do something about it, and spend MILLIONS, if not a BILLION or so. AND IT WILL BE SCREWED UP JUST LIKE 'NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND'. About 2 weeks ago, there was a man that rushed onto his daugher's school bus, yelling, 'point them out to me, tell me who does this to you', he turn and said, 'if I find out it's anyone of you, I will kill you'. He was removed from the bus and arrested. People were SHOCKED. HE THREATENED CHILDREN. Then the story came out. For MONTHS, his daughter, was bullied. He and his wife had gone up to school and complained. HIs daughter, who has CYSTIC FIBROSIS, was having her hair pulled, yelled, called names and having condemns put in her hair. The school, basically did NOTHING. (well, they put an attendant on the bus thaat did not speak english). This young girl was depressed, EXTREMELY DEPRESSED, and the school, they said there was nothing they could do. The father, seeing his handicapped daughter hysterical everyday, broke….

  65. 65

To tell you the truth if my kid was badly bullied and school did nothing, there's no way I'd keep him there for 2 years. 1. My husband would beat the shit out of those bullies. 2. if I didnt have a husband I'd change schools at least. Another thing Perez, what if some celebrity kills his/herself cause you bullied them??

  66. 66

its TEXAS. i wouldnt expect anything less from this state. been there. done that.

  67. 67

Re: iheartpickles – - "maybe you should stop picking on people before one of the celebs you trash daily puts a gun in their mouth. just a thought."

Is this web site "cyber bullying" for the adult/celebrity world? Hmmm….

  68. 68

I saw the psychologist they brought on t.v. to 'address' the problems of bullying. The man (I will not call him a dr., sorry, and I am a nurse), he said that parents have to 'empower' their children. I have a son that suffers from depression and gets picked on too. It would be great if I could 'EMPOWER' HIM, like turning on a switch. Lord, I hate that word, and it is a cop out that people started using in the 90s. Next, he said, 'go to the school'. I did, these parents did, the man on the school bus did, and you know what? They deny you were there most of the time, or label you a trouble maker, a favorite, and basically, for most school districts, do not want to get involved. and his final suggestion? Go to the bullies parents and talk to them. Well guess what? 9 out of 10 times, THEY WERE BULLIES IN SCHOOL TOO. They just laugh and say-kids will be kids, they were just rough housing, my kid said yours started it….

  69. 69

    Re: madonnaperezbritney – it's texas, they're born with guns…………

  70. 70

These kids live in a world where bullies get rich and famous outting gay people against their will. Sounds familiar, Perez? I find it very ironic that you get all emotional over this story when, in fact, you are one of the biggest bullies EVER. You are such a hypocrite, Perez…

  71. KKL says – reply to this

This family also endured another tragedy earlier in the year when the victim's brother died from a terminal disease. (I live in their neighborhood - this little boy was in my daughter's gym class)

  72. 72

The federal government did spend MILLIONS (I think during the clinton administration) for bully programs that continued to run for years later. We would get these lovely shows coming on and why bullies hurt 'everyone', and how a bully is really 'hurting' deep down and has no self confidence. There would be signs in the cafeteria 'No Bully zone' and poster contests. Meanwhile, back on the bus….. kids were getting picked on, and when someone complained that their kid was afraid to ride the bus and can't that kid be removed-the vice principle would reply 'but then brutus's mother would have to be late to work to drop him off to school every day, We can't take him off the bus' (huh??? but your kid can be beat up every day right? ) . Wimpy will have to try not to sit near him.

  73. 73

Is today your way of pretending to be accepting? You are fucking pathetic. No one believes you are as accepting as you pretend to be, in fact you hate anyone that isn't gay, an attractive male, or a woman you kisses your fugly fat ass. Why not report the regular kids who get bullied daily? Do they not matter? Oh that's right they aren't gay so they aren't as important. Oh and by the way I'm a gay boy from Texas and never once had any problems with bullying, that doesn't work with your idea that all gays have it rough.

  74. 74

I went to Hamilton Middle last year and the staff is great and not to blame. The kid who pushed him down the stairs, I gave him a bloody lip last year for the exact same thing talking down to people, not the right thing to do but i'm glad I did it.

  75. KKL says – reply to this

Re: Shaun Speck – I AM GLAD YOU DID IT TOO!!!! Name names - please.

  76. 76

This is so sad. That poor little boy didnt deserve any of that shit. I hope the kids who did that to him get what they deserve and feel like fuckin shit.

  77. 77

Horrible. I know I will never forget the bullies in my life who made my life miserable for a year (teased & harassed me sexually for developing early) and how I faked being sick so I could be at home rather than face them and the abuse. Kids can be so mean. Teachers likely saw this abuse directed at this kid and did nothing. They are responsible partially for this poor boys death. As a parent, I can't imagine the suffering of the parents. Nothing can bring him back. But the lead bullies, if they can be identified, must be held accountable.

  78. 78

Texas needs to be it's own country…People will hate it like they hate mexico

  79. 79

That's so sad, the little boy is so frickin' cute. Horrible…

  80. 80

That is indeed horrible. However, you cannot blame bullying for 100% of this issue. Is it a huge contributor? ABSOLUTELY. However, the boys parents needed to not only be calling the school (like they did), they needed to be supporting their son. Even though he didn't come out to them until the last minute, they should have seen he was hurting and supported that hurt -no matter where it came from. Suicide is one of the WORST things on this planet, but ultimately you pull your own trigger. And I know that's cold and I know I'm gonna get flack for that but hear me out - those bullies are partly responsible; and by that I mean a huge part - but they did not ultimately pull that trigger. The whole story makes me sick and I'm so sad at that loss, but since he didn't leave a note or anything; how are we to know that all the bullying was the ONLY factor? I still think the parents should have been more involved.

  81. 81

Re: MarcHimself – Here in Texas? Don't hold your breath. This place is so full of illiterate rednecks.

  82. 82

Re: blueboy – I got a less than satisfactory response from the SAME school system involving my child and a bully…. a bully with a history of bullying. Evidently, the bullying must be in the form of a closed fist to count. Pushing etc was not taken seriously.

  83. 83

I hate to be the one to point this out because I'll probably be blasted, but Perez, aren't you picking on celebrities at times with this website? Don't you think you are hurting people's feelings with certain blogs? And aren't we all reading it because we love your sarcasm? If we really want to stop hateful acts, we (including me) should begin within our own souls. I believe it's horrible what happened to this teen or that it happens to anyone. But I also laugh when I read your biting wit and hateful comments about certain celebs. Are we all planting seeds that grow unkindness but just don't want to admit it???

  84. 84

condolences to his family. Those responsible for the bullying should be held accountable and punished.

  85. 85

  86. 86

  87. 87

I posted a comment that wasn't posted. For everyone getting bullied and everyone that has been bullied. Go to you tube and put in ITGETSBETTERPROJECT.

  88. 88

Re: marie-eve – Very much so. I put a comment to take them to the it gets better project and he didn't allow it.

  89. 89

I had to read this article paragraph by paragraph because my tears blinded me - the text was blurred. I'm in tears. My heart is breaking. I don't get human behavior. I just don't. There is something truly lacking in the individuals who bully others. I can't believe NO ONE tried to stop the bullies who pushed Asher down the stairs and kicked his book bag. There HAD to be witnesses, There HAD be SOMEONE in the crowd, with compassion, who helped Asher to his feet and helped him pack up the items that were strewed around him. There HAD to be someone who gave him comfort. There HAD to be someone there to seek help for him. I'm just SICK over this. Looking at the photo of Asher's sweet face, I see a KIND, joyful, giving spirit. His face is SO sweet — his smile shows his heart. This young boy was pure bliss. I'm just so overwhelmed with grief. How could ANYONE mistreat another just because they are "different?" My prayers are with Asher, his family, and friends. May G-d bless them. I pray G-d heals their hearts. I pray justice will prevail. I pray the "beasts" that bullied him — EVERY bully who made Asher's life miserable for the past 3 years, PAYS — through ALL eternity. I wish people learned the word "acceptance." It's NOT our place to JUDGE!

Fcuk man the bullying is getting outta control! Parents control your kids man!

  92. 92

where did he get a 9mm from?

  93. 93

Oh mang where's my comment? I used to bully kids like this in school. Some of them turned straight after awhile, so really, I did them a favor.

the parents are partially to blame. if they knew their kid was gay and the school did nothing about the bullies then the parents should had made an effort to transfer him to another school or home schooled.

I don't understand why kids are so insensitive.

    I'm so sorry Asher.

R.i.p young one! Those fucking bullies should get a taste of their own medicine, send them here to Ireland, so they can taste fists in their mouths or better yet give them a reality check and send them to a correction for minors, scare the hell out of them until they cried for their mummy.

Perez I don't always agree with your point of view, but everything you said here is SO poignant, SO true… Its wonderful to know you have a forum to express your opinion ESPECIALLY when you can reach & teach a young person who so desperately needs it. Well said.

Re: April 20th – Everyone deals with bullies in different ways. I dealed with it by refusing school. The bullies are to blame. They may not have physically put the gun to his head, but they might as well have. I hope they recieve the full consequence of what they have done to this kid. They stripped that poor kid of all of his self worth and they need to be punished.

Those son of a bitches. They should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. That poor confused child.
