James Franco Buys Rights To The Adderall Diaries

This sounds like a project made for Franco, who will adapt, direct, and star in it.

The Adderall Diaries is a book by the mildly insane Stephen Elliott, who chronicles a murder trial that goes awry. It's not so much a mystery novel as cracked-out ramblings about a murder trial.

James Franco is incredible in the arty films he’s done, and we can’t wait to see what he can do with this!

Stephen Elliott sets the standard. He is taking responsibility for his talent, his career, and creating. I wish Stephen Elliott well. More actors should take control of their careers instead of listening to every overblown manager, agent, and yoga instructor.
