  3. 3

    alright, gaaay

  4. 4

why exactly should schools protect gays…do they protect minorities, or people with disabilities?

  5. 5

Schools should protect ALL children regardless their sex, race, religion or preference. Thank God I was never bullied or otherwise those bullies would of been wearing false teeth.

Re: fickdichpogmothoin! – your attitude is what kept you from being bullied - parents raise pansy's these days. I was bullied and didn't have the balls to stand up to them when I was 10. 5 years later, i wasn't the same person, had confidence and wasn't taking shit from anybody and the bullying ceased………

That agenda was nicely packaged, Perez. I think the problem this is going to face, is that most people still think that being gay is wrong. Although, I believe most people want to protect ALL people from bullied, having the schools be required to teach that being gay is ok, is not going to fly, at least in most states.

how about segregate them into their own schools? there they will be free to spread all the aids they want.

Asking for special treatment because you are gay is only going to make your situation worse. Going to school I NEVER saw any hispanics, african americans, white, or asians asking for special treatment because of their race. I NEVER saw any gay or lesbaian students asking for special treatment because of their sexual orientation. Why now??? Just because students are getting beat up cause they are gay? This happens everyday in every HS, and most of the students who are targeted arent gay. ANYONE CAN BE A TARGET.
Not just gay students. I have nothing but love and respect for gays and lesbians, but this issue is ridiculous. If they give special treatment to students cause they are gay…then i demand special treatment because I am straight. Otherwise, you Perez, are supporting discrimination towards straight people.

While I agree what's happening to gay students is horrific and something needs to be done (more education, hotlines to offer anonymous tips re:bullying, counseling, etc)…how is a lot of this any different than when PEREZ HIMSELF outed gay celebs? It's not ok for students to be doing this and it's not ok for PEREZ to do this. How hypocritical for Perez to be all up in arms about these poor students when HE has contributed to this pervasive image that WE have any right to know what a person's sexuality is! He was the LEADER in exposing unwilling gays…he felt it was his RIGHT…he had no respect for their privacy….and yet here he is, screaming about the injustices against these young gay suicide and bullying victims.

Someone needs to remind Perez that he too is a BULLY. It's not your right to OUT people PEREZ…just like it's not anyone's right to out someone.

    The whole thing is sickening.

What about Children who are a different race or religion? What about Kids listen to a different form of music than everyone else? What about kids who are Poor or handicapped or suffering from some disorder? Do you realize how arrogant you sound Perez?

Re: somethingalways – How about you get yourself ass raped so you can get AIDS and die.

Re: April 20th – You're absolutely right!! Some parents think that by teaching their children to fight that they would become trouble makers and that's not true at all. My father always taught us to respect everyone especially the elders and children that look different (disformed) from us, But if someone was to pick on us or somebody else to go ahead defend them and kick their ass.

  15. 15

So, Why is it just gays? Why not protect ALL the children? I'm sorry, But all kids are bullied..For multiple reasons, and maybe sometimes because of them being gay. Parents these days raise pansy ass limp dicks these days. "Turn the other cheek, Walk away and tell your teachers"

No, You wanna know why people bully? It's because they know theres NO consequences. They will put up with it and they not only get amusement out of it they also think they are big shit due to their friends seeing it..Kids need to learn to stand up for themselves and go knock the ever living shit out of their bully..I promise you that it -may- take them a few times to get it, or you may get your ass kicked a few times but if you make it HURT every time they start crap with you they will eventually learn not to mess with you.

Re: fickdichpogmothoin! – they just don't raise em like they used to!!!!

Why do you try to make it seem like it's only the gays that are bullied? In most bullying cases it's because the person is considered ugly by others. You're just gonna ignore those kids?

  18. 18

Here's the truth and you will not like it. Being gay is not a license to act like a freak. Be cool and strong and don't TRY to be different. That said if someone bullies you don't be afraid to kick them in the head.

  19. 19

hope about making it safer for all the kids that get harassed and bullied?

How about gays, straights, gingers, too poor to dress well, kids with low marks, fat kids, gawky kids, zitty kids, stuttering kids, ugly kids, abused kids…
It isn't just about gay kids. How many teen suicides are there every day where orientation isn't the issue, but varying issues, mistreatment and abuse is? Yeah, let's protect the few percent, and disregard the other 90 to 97%.
How about pitching to make schools safer for all students?
