A View Inside Bowie's Mind
For many out there, this is huge news. While it is coming a little ahead of its intended announcement (leaked would be a better word for it), expect a book written by David Bowie to be published in the near future.
Bowie was and still is a pioneer for numerous mediums, mainly music and fashion, which he managed to combine superbly. He is often credited in creating glam rock.
His book, Bowie: Object, consists of 100 images which he took with an old camera he received from his friend in 1975. Surrounding the images is witty, insightfully annotated, personal text written by Bowie himself. Fans will finally be able to see how his mind works.
We're excited for this one! We were always curious where he came up with all his crazy ideas and unique styles! He was the 1970's male version of Lady GaGa!
We love his fashion. We love his music. We're sure to love this book!

- They both write songs about being obsessed with either themselves, fashion, or someone else who's compelling in a purely superficial, stylistic way.
- Both imagined themselves as crusaders when really no matter how much glitter and shit they put on their faces they still are a crap interview and all about self-praise.
Don't get it twisted. Gaga is the 2010 female, less innovative, less original version of him. Just because she's doing it more pop electronic doesn't mean she isn't ripping off forty year old ideas.

I think NOT. Bowie was first and you know it. Back to your same old tricks, trying to throw her into a post that is totally irrelevant to her. As far as similarities go, the only things I can think of is their eccentric styles and sexual orientations (bisexual). Musically, they're nothing alike. And it's *obvious* which one who has *immense* musical talent and the one whose all show.
ANYWAY, this book sounds exciting and interesting indeed. I might have to have to pick this up when it drops along with the Station to Station deluxe box!
