Mario Arrested After Assaulting His Own Mother!!!
Despicable! How could he?!
This morning, rapper Mario was arrested at his apartment in Baltimore after allegedly attacking his mother!
According to officials, Mario's mother Shawntia Hardaway called the police because Mario was "throwing and damaging property" and shoved her with his hands and forearms.
This apparently wasn't the first time he attacked her either. Shawntia claims that her son also pushed her around earlier in the week. According to the police report, she alleges that he pushed her "eight feet into a living room wall, where Ms. Hardaway hit her head on the wall."
Mario was arrested on a 2nd degree assault charge, but was released after he posted his $50,000 bail.
That woman gave you life! How dare you put your hands on her?!

I wouldn't be to quick to judge. Although a dude should never put his hands on a woman there may be more to this story. His mother has put him through some pretty rough times. She was a hardcore heroine addict. He actually had to give her money to shoot up because she said she wasn't going to rehab until she had a hit. It was on that MTV documentary.

One thing that is not being mentioned is that his mother has been battling a mean addiction to heroin and Mario has been taking care of her since he was 16. With that being said, no man should hit a woman, but we also need more information before we make a judgment on him or the situation. They have been known to have altercations because he has been trying so hard to get her off of drugs and to stop spending all of his money. C'mon Perez do some research before you label the guy.
Mario's Mother is a drug addict and if you watched his documentry it details how he supports her and has tried many times to get her help but she lies and steals from him. I know about a month ago he cut her off and told her he would not support her any more, this could be her way of geeting back at him! She is a drug addict. He did a special on MTV a few years ago talking about her struggles and how hard it is having a mom addicted to drugs. She admitted to her demons. Maybe he was trying to get her to stop using. Let's wait before you demonize him.

I signed on just to mention what is mentioned above. She is a known heroin addict, and may even be making the whole thing up. The poor kid has been supporting her his whole life. I think you should update this post to mention FACTS, Mario.

I agree that what was written was not the whole story. He could have been trying to stop her from going to get high. Truth is he has done everything to help her ande she won't help her self. Let's not make him out to be like Chris Brown. Pushing someone is completely different then beating them up especially since the circumstances are something we know nothing about.

Something to remember, Mario's mother is a raging heroin addict. You should check out that documentary he did a while back. I wouldn't believe anything she said after seeing her shooting up and forgetting where she lived.
not to say he was right or wrong because we don't know the whole story but it's not like she's the world's greatest mom…if i recall correctly I saw a special a few years ago where he either was trying to get to go to or she had just come from rehab. Clearly they're a family with issues.

Just because some drug addled bitch spread her legs for any number of men doesn't make her anything to him but a biological counterpart. It means she got pregnant. It doesn't mean she was a "mother" in any way, shape or form other than biology and welfare payments. She probably gives about as much of a shit about him as he gives about her.
Yeah, I don't want to judge but his mother is a terrible drug addict. I saw the MTV documentary about his life a few times. She was always hit and miss and he had to give her money to get high just to get her on a plane to rehab. He had a terrible life growing up and it was all due to her. I would never advocate domestic violence of any type, but I could really see how she could get pushed into a wall if she was high and acting a fool. It's easy to judge until you've been there.. Living with a crack or heroine addict is terrible and it is not unusual for them to get high and get way out of control. I feel bad for him because he has always tried to do right by her even at his own expense at times.
You also forgot to metion how his mom is a HEROIN ADDICT! Can't even imagine what he's had to put up with!!!!! He probably would'nt give her any money for a hit!!!!

Hmmm. Something seems off about this and I will wait to hear from Mario and further details before passing judgement. That doesn’t sound like something he would do at all. It is public knowledge that his mother is a crack cocaine addict and has serious issues with addiction. There was even an MTV documentary about it. I’ll bet she’s back on smack and that that was at the center of all of this.

Did you not see the reality show where he had to do an intervention because this mother who was spending up all his money was back on heroin. That broke my heart because I have the same situation. My mother is on crack and has been in and out of my life and jail. I am sorry to say it but I'm sure in fact I'll go on to say I'm about 100 Percent sure that she did something to finally push him over the edge. That man has stuck by her side when others probably told him to get her out of his life. You can't trust a junkie!!!

U need to do research sometimes before u write a story. He has gone through alot with his mother. She did not raise him because she has been a shoot up dope fiend since before he was born. He has sent her to rehad and she relapsed several times. He probably found evidence of her using drugs or she stole something and he found out. Their situation is quite sad actually.

I doubt he walked in and attacked his Mom. He has tried for years - no matter what's been going on with his career - to help her. She has a serious drug problem. Having delt with a raving crackhead in my own life, I'll bet she dipped for days, he was trying to find her and when he did or she finally showed her tweeked out ass back to the spot that he pays for, he tried again to get her to get help. All that woman does is see him as a source to hit up for money to score her shit. Having been stuck in a similar nightmare, my heart goes out to Mario. Things aint how they appear. You can always find the scoop out Perez, dig deeper for him.

#1: You don't know what actually happened. Everyone knows that his mother is a drug addict and she may have made the whole thing up or he may have just been defending himself by pushing her (not hitting her).
#2: The 50Cent story was complete BullSh*t. His tweet had nothing to do with gay people. You really set the gay rights movement back every time you make something out of nothing just for publicity. His tweet was clearly a joke and was not homophobic at all! Every time someone makes up a problem, it takes attention away from the real problems that are going on.
