Facebook Movie Social Network Is #1!

| Filed under: Justin TimberlakeBen AffleckFilm Flickers

The movie about Facebook, Social Network, topped the box office this weekend, making roughly $23 million at the domestic box office.

That's pretty good for a movie without any A-list actors, however the film itself has been getting rave reviews. The movie stars Jesse Eisenberg, serious actor Justin Timberlake, and a name you'll be very familiar with in the coming months, newly-casted Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield. The movie was written by Aaron Sorkin and David Fincher.

The animated owl movie, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole came in second with $10.9 million.

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps took the third place spot with $10.9 million. The film was expected to come into second place.

Both Ben Affleck's The Town and Emma Stone's Easy A remained strong, coming in fourth and fifth places.

don't you get it MARIO/PEREZ? Movies are costing a fortune for some of us, A lot of us could give a flying f*ck if Brangelina, Clooney, etc are in them, we just want to see a good movie for the money. All YOUR Precious LiL BBs are not worth the MILLs they are getting paid. Hope they have saved up, because it will start, uhm HAS started to show. More and more people are either willing to wait until they can download the movie OR they DON'T WAIT AND BUY IT FROM SOME GUY ON THE CORNER. I don't, don't like it, won't do it, BUT I somewhat understand it. IF you like going to movies alot, Unless you have a really great job, you can't afford taking a date OR try taking YOUR FAMILY-2 ADULTS, 2 OR 3 KIDS, snacks, drinks-well over $100 for a 1 1/2 and the movie sucks. (unless you PACK EVERYTHING for your kids before you go, cutting back on the $$$ of snacks). Hey Mario, isn't the whole thing of the good acting, that the actor gets into the character that YOU DON"T REALIZE WHO THEY ARE? So, does it matter if you have a NAME that asks for $20 million or an up and coming for under a mill. that is a better actor?

Okay i saw Social Network.. going to watch it again. The guy who played Mark was very captivating.. everyone was great. Andrew Garfield and Justin Timberlake omg was terrific. The story was great. This is behind Inception was best movie this year. Its already to early to say..but Inception already had that number one spot

I found it astounding that you have absolutely no respect for quality.

I see Perez not talking about how Bradley and Renee film bombed like he does with Jennifer.

Re: justtfax – your right. I have to start paying for my own tix now. My family wont go together to see a movie. And most of the things in a movie are awlays the same thing..sex.. and saying something cruel for no reason. I rarely watch a movie twice.. and i have done it this year. I am a huge movie buff and have actually passed on seeing some movies. I think i have seen in total 8 movies this year.

I actually JUST saw it. It was great. OMG Justin made me hate his character (which is good acting to me). It made me kind of glad I never joined 'The Face Book' lol (it was soo funny when Justin's character said to drop the 'The'. Mark is a douche, but he did HELPED create a wonderful thing. Perez, did I hear you say the twins were played by one guy? I don't know if it was the hair style or the computer, but their faces were even shaped differently. Who ever that hottie is, he deserves an Oscar.

I saw the Social Network and thought it was the best movie I've seen this year. What alot of people who haven't seen it will be surprised by is how funny the movie is. all of the actors did an amazing job including Timberlake. When or if Perez ever see's it he'll be disappointed in just how good Justin is. He'll never admit it though just like he hasn't mentioned the Vampire movie he was heavily promoting all week BOMBED.

I just saw The Social Network and it was GREAT! Jesse Eisenberg does an amazing portrayal of Mark! He is so talented, I love him, and I have the biggest crush on him. All the actors were really good. I hope Jesse gets nominated for an Oscar because his acting is definitely Oscar worthy, to say the least.
