Leave the kiddies at home!

The first of the final two Harry Potter films has received a PG-13 rating for violence.

The second Deathly Hallows film will be PG, which makes it suitable for young children.

The final book definitely had some of the most darker and scarier moments of the series.

Thoughts??

"Most darker and scarier moments"? Sure you made it past the 2nd grade?

tell your illiterate dumbass mother to stop making stupid comments like "most darker and scarier"…….

  4. 4

I thought some of the other films in the series were PG-13.

If the first half gets a PG-13 then they could have allowed the F-bomb twice! Brilliant. But since they probably didn't, it's because there's going to be a lot of blood. Too bad part 2 isn't PG-13 either. Still cant wait for Molly Weasley to go Mel Gibson on Bellatrix's ass at the end

Oh, please. If my 8 year old can read the book, she can and will see the movie.

OMG PG 13 …Is your Mommy going to take you Mario?

the final battle is in part 2 so how can it be pg? all the bodies and battles? also if they cut "not my daughter you bitch" i am throwing things at the screen!

Re: BackstreetBarbie! – Yes, they better keep that in!!! And I'm guessing we'll see the full on make out kiss with tongue with Harry & Ginny in the beginning

i honestly think that the second half should be pg13 also. thats where the big fighting scene is and it is much worse than the first half where harry hermione and ron are in a forest for most of it.

I always thought part 2 should be at least PG-13. I mean there will be quite a lot of deaths and blood. I even thought it could be rated R.

the 2nd one should be PG-13 also…hell, half the characters DIE int he second half!

still can't wait for the movie!

Part 2 is rated PG? Are you joking?? Part 2 should and will likely be a lot darker than the first half, just saying.

Thats nice, i just better be able to actually see the movie. I have the dvd of all the movies but the last one is so shot in the dark i can't watch the movie unless the sun goes down and the lights go off. And yet another thing, a pg-13 rating nowadays ain't a big deal.

I've never commented before but I felt it was necessary, because Perez is stupid. I just read the article he got the information from, and it says NOTHING about Part 2 being rated-PG. It says: "The final film released, Half-Blood Prince, is rated PG (with a few scenes unsuitable for children). This means we can expect scenes with violence and impact in the first part of HP7. " Obviously the translation from Portuguese to English wasn't perfect, but it pretty much means that Half-Blood Prince was PG, therefore Part 1 will be more violent blahblah because it is PG-13. Perez, go die in ALL THE FIRES.

I'm pretty sure some of the movies in the past have been PG-13.
