Is The Boss Getting Gleeked Out?

This could be a pretty smart move!

Think about all of the bro's and Jersey natives that would become instantaneous Gleeks over this! Especially because if this pans out, then it's TOTALLY going to be the post-Superbowl episode!

The latest name to be thrown into the revolving door of stunt-casting on the smash series Glee is none other than The Boss himself, Bruce Springsteen!

Sources have revelead that not only is there a potential tribute episode to the icon's music in the works, but he could be making an appearance as Finn's uncle!

Insiders say:

"Bruce is such an all-American icon we thought it would be great to get him on board. His music is loved by everyone and it has such potential to fit into the show."

And even our beloved Jane Lynch is on board!

She says:

"I hear rumors that we may do a Bruce Springsteen episode and I think something like that would be amazing. I'm a big fan!"

Well, if she gives her approval, then so do we!

We're just going to have to give up on hoping for actual plot and just accept the show for what it's become - an excuse to garner as many ratings as possible with no real consideration for characterization or story consistency!

Oh, well!

Love the Boss and I think it's a great idea!!!! I am a NYer so Jersey is in my backyard. Loved tonites episode and I had a vision of Adam Lambert on this show. Wouldn't he be great. What do ya think?

Mario, you first heard of Springsteen when GaGa mentioned him on her tour. Shut up and fuck off.

Enough with the tribute episodes. The Brittany Spears episode wasn't even watchable! I love Springsteen, but I don't think this is a smart move.

OMG! I hear that they're also going to have an episode based on another famous singer's music!

I don't watch Glee. Are you planning on having an orgasm over every episode? That's around 22 OMGs per season. I just don't understand how you could get so excited over television's version of the Minipops. K-Tell did it first.

Re: backfire – "Square" is a good word for it… and NO you are not alone in your displeasure for Glee.

"…bro's and Jersey natives"? Springsteen is the most influential living artist in the world, you fat moron. Springsteen isn't "bro" music, he is music itself. He's too good for this crappy show. He's probably do it anyway because he's such a good guy, but Gleeks don't deserve him.

It would be a STEP DOWN for BRUCE to do GLEE. YOU, Mario, might get an organism everytime you watch glee, but others just watch the show. I would not want to see some of his songs 'killed' by some of them. PUCK could do him, but LEA? the girls? don't know. Bruce is an East Coast icon that has been popular for DECADES and sells out EVERYTIME. He, Bon Jovi, and other east coasters, SHOULD NOT BE TOUCHED BY GLEE. and I don't care if Sue S. gives her approval. If they HAVE to do tribute shows, STAY WITH BUBBLEGUM POP

Is Ryan Murphy even aware that Black artists also make music?
    Just thought I'd ask.
