Russell Brand Cleared In Paparazzo Incident!

| Filed under: Legal MattersKaty PerryRussell Brand

Good news for Russell Brand! Prosecutors have said that they do not plan on charging the actor for last month's incident when Brand shoved a paparazzo for snapping upskirt photos of fiance Katy Perry.

Even though he's in the clear, he does have to attend a hearing on Nov. 19 with the photographer,

"This is the only action as of now," L.A. City Attorney's Office spokesman Frank Mateljan says. "Based on the info, it has been determined that this is the most appropriate action at this time."

We're sure Russell is relieved.

And we're surely gonna remind y'all that violence is never the answer!

If ANYBODY would try and take a picture of my wife "upskirt" then can expect a beating. I dont condone violence but if someone is that arrogant then you get what you deserve. Ring any bells Mario with the BEP incident? People need to know when to shut their mouths and respect people with their actions, otherwise expect a beat down period.

I'd generally agree with violence not being the solution, but when some pervert is trying to take a picture up the skirt of a woman, they absolutely deserve to be punched in the face. Then kicked in the groin.

wtf was he thinking when he put on those boots with that shirt?

  4. 4

    Of course he's cleared, he's a celebrity!

If somebody tried to get photos like THAT from me - i swear I'd be upset if my man didn't beat the shiz out of him.
Come on, I mean YES violence is not an answer, but NO you shouldn't keep quiet and accept to be photographed on such intimate places.

Yes, the press has certain rights, but that doesn't mean they bought the Canon and the right to take picutres of every crotch together.

Come on. I cannot understand US law. The paparazzo is the one who should be brought to court, not Russell!!!

I don't understand why that pretty woman is with this ugly dude unless he is probably hung or something because I don't see it !

Re: buddyboy – there was no photo (and it shows in the video that it didnt happen) that shows a pap doing an upskirt.

    it was his excuse.

I think you mean "physical violence" is never the answer. You are pretty violent yourself with your mean-spirited comments for apparent no reason on most celebrities. Please. Time for Mario Armando to repent.

Sorry, but I have to disagree with you. I think any man, rich or poor, famous or not, has the right to shove some pervert out of the way trying to take a picture up his girlfriend/wife/mother's skirt. Taking a camera and trying to take pictures up someone's dress is a crime in most countries, I imagine. Russell Brand should be given a medal.
