I really like Taylor Swift. I think she's a great role model for little girls, a great song-writer and, when she's on the studio, a great singer. Her voice has something. But when she sings live… It's just… so… bland. I can sing better than her live.
Sorry Taylor, I love you, and I love your songs. But as Katy Perry, you suck live.

Unfortunately she is consistently weak as a live performer, proving that her "down home" image is more powerful than autotune. It's not awful, but certainly not recording quality. However, why is it that she resembles a young Debbie Harry here… circa "Rapture" with longer curlier hair? Am I too drunk?

I feel really bad for all the truly talented people in this world who will never be famous because they don't know anyone in the industry… since when did Hollywood become only something that is kept "in the family" and not about finding "stars". This is the result… I also feel bad for the other country singers out there who are getting less recognition than this girl, who is faaaaar below their level of singing ability. It's actually insulting.

I for one think this girl is way more talented, than most of the celebs in Hollywood today. Her songs relate to people her age. She writes them solely on her own…plays very good acoustic (yes, check it out) and has great concerts. You guys are way too bitter and jealous. Please get a life losers.

I honestly ADORE Taylor Swift. she is one of the most genuine, personal, involved artist out there right now. Her writing skills alone overshadow her vocal abilities in my opinion, and just her overall class. you don't see her stumbling out of clubs or wearing meat dresses, she's just herself, and that's why she's amazing. singing live shouldn't be the one important thing about a person. I saw her live at the Staples Center on May 22nd 2009 and she was AMAZING. all of the haters need to just shut the fuck up and let us Taylor fans enjoy what Perez posts up here about her without reading your ignorant ass comments, when you probably don't even know that much about her or how hard she has worked to get to where she is.

wow….is Perez and the half of the country deaf? really…it's painful to listen to her pitch. I hope she was ashamed after this…and will never sing live again. You know, writing 4-chord songs is not that difficult and masses enjoy the simplicity of her music. She seems like a nice girl…but there are lots of nice girls out there. I understand that America embraced her for her image she and not for her singing. Use some pitch correction, girl!

And for those who defend Taylor Swift and call the rest of us "jealous haters" did you actually watch the video? She is off key most the performance and she consistently does in any performance. I give her props for singing live because so many performers don't these days but sadly she's just not talented. She's just a pretty girl being cratered to the younger girls as a good role model.
