Banksy Does The Simpsons!

How the net execs ever said okay to this is beyond us!

For the first time in the history of the show, an artist was invited to storyboard and direct the opening "couch" scene of The Simpsons. Everyone anxiously awaited to see what the British visionary, Banksy, would do with the opportunity.

Last night, we all found out.

Check out Banksy's artful opening to the long running show! (above)

It's obviously tongue in cheek Perez. I still love banksy after all these years.

  9. 9

Get it but too dark and preachy for a show like the simpsons.

  10. 10

    hahaha thats great People.

  11. 11

Wow! I'm a little surprised by that, but I guess if it were a huge deal we would have heard more by now.

  12. 12

Hahaha! "It's funny because it's true!"

Re: poorlittlerichiegirl – Wow your ignorance is offensive. Banksy is not some disposable piece of reality trash (your so obviously use too) that gets thrown away after its 15mins. His work will be immortalized to portray our generation.. Apathetic, provocative, thought provoking, yet ultimately redundant. I think your name is indicative of your general level of intelligence. IE. Grow the f*** up.

  17. 17

That was super sad but really awesome

  18. 18

  24. 24

    omg wow lol

  25. 25

Stealing from Michael K again. Nice.

  26. 26

Dark and meaningful… but how do we know it was Banksy that did this and not someone pretending to be him? Thats the problem with a secret identity… you never really know if its their work or not.

  27. 27

not a fan of it at alllll

brilliant but extremely sad, and extremely sad because the whole thing is true

For those who found this absolutely deplorable, quit living in your fantasy world where the grass is always green and money grows on trees. This intro gave a very modest image of how the world operates when it comes to materialism.

I'm sorry if reality hurt your feelings.

  30. 30

cuz that's not racist at all. . .

  31. 31

who the hell is banksy? that sucked.

  32. 32

The Simpsons was accused of outsourcing the work to people in Korea, and they allowed Banksy to do this version to show that they don't - it's meant to just be an exagerated version of what could happen, but doesn't
