Elliot Spitzer Doing Worse Than Rick Sanchez

cnns parker spitzer tanks in the ratings

We didn't even know that was possible!

CNN debuted Parker Spitzer this week, the hourlong roundtable with disgraced New York State governor Eliot Spitzer and conservative columnist Kathleen Parker, and it tanked.

The show only brought in 465,500 viewers for the week, which wasn't much lower than Rick Sanchez's show Rick's List. His show had 3 million more viewers when it temporarily took over that time slot.

And despite the buzz over the premiere, Parker Spitzer was beat by cable competition Bill O'Reilly, Keith Olbermann and Nancy Grace.

Should have stuck with Campbell Brown!

…that is because the guy is a Scumbag! I'd rather watch paint dry, it would have more credibility!

This was reported a week ago by CNN, NY Post and the times. Find something on your own moron.

ummm, Sanchez averaged 3000 more viewers than Parker-Spitzer, not 3 Million. O'Reilly is the only news program that surpasses 3 Million a night; no one else even comes close.

CNN, the worse than watching paint dry network, bring back the racist "Dirty Rick Sanchez!" Eliot Spitzer seems like the pedophile type!

I watched it for about three minutes. It is royal garbage. She's lousy and Spitzer should be put to sleep for all the crap he heaved on New York. Cancel it and send them both out to pasture.

when I see this guy I think of hookers
    what was CNN thinking ???

  8. 8

CNN should change their news format and stick to unbiased news reporting instead of catering to the left….let Fox and MSNBC battle their politial ideologies…maybe CNN can get their ratings up if they stay neutral.

The true question is why would anyone bother to watch CNN and how do they keep making money? Even with a pervert on television, there is no reason why a liberal would watch.

    I loved Rick Sanchez.
I have not really watched CNN since.

Every time I turn it on to try and watch, they seem to be going to commercial… somebody's OVER PAID

Sanchez never did anything wrong to begin with. Spitzer is, though being Jewish certainly makes him part of the "media club", kinda weird. I like Parker but she has no showmanship nor is the manic type personality fit for sound bytes. She's kinda plain Jane and takes her time to be honest and thoughtful. American Jews make up only 2% of the population of America. Yet: 46% make over $100,000 per year, they make up 15% of the U.S. Senate, 13% of the U.S. House of Representatives, 67% of members of the Board of the Federal reserve, 33% of the U.S. Supreme Court. Media: Just taking CNN only, 55% of corporate officers for TBS, which owns CNN, are Jewish. On air, Larry King, John King, Howard Kurtz, Eliot Slpitzer, Jeffrey Toobin, Paula Zahn, etc.. Rick Sanchez has nothing to apologize for.

I loved Rick Sanchez too. Who the hell wants to watch "Client #9? That's what CNN gets for firing Rick Sanchez.

Elliot Rocks!!!! Who cares about his sex life. He is trying to shed light on the Wall Street organized criminals Grow a brain please. (At least he was not doing it with little boys like most RepubliKKKan men)

I watch CNN frequently. They at least attempt to cover two sides of the story, unlike Fox and MSNBC. I think that is part of the reason why they don't do as well. If you cover both sides you'll make both sides upset. Which is something I hear a lot when people find out I watch CNN. I've heard, "Oh my gosh- they are so biased to the left!" and "how can you watch such a conservative network?"

Anyway. I don't watch this show. I liked Sanchez…but Spitzer? No.

barbara, 3 million? you fucking fat, hideous pig!

Holy shit you're a moron. These situations are COMPLETELY different, and you're comparing a new show to shows with established audiences. Get a grip retard.

If you want to understand why any critical discussion of Jewish people or Israel is met with such harsh resistance in the United States, watch the documentary called "Defamation" by Jewish-Israeli filmmaker Yoav Shamir. It's on NetFlix (right now available streaming). Another documentary (that's less general and more focused on foreign policy) is called "The Israel Lobby" by Dutch filmmaker Marije Meerman.
