Just hours after being arrested for reckless endangerment which occurred after the starlet allegedly chucked a bong out her window, Amanda Bynes is pleading her case to the court of public opinion!
Surprising absolutely no one, she sent out an unfocused tweet just minutes ago saying she never drinks or abuses drugs and that she definitely doesn't own a bong!!

I have always thought Johnny Weir was the most amazing athlete. He never skated until he was 9. Unheard of in the skating world for someone to start that late and win National Titles and Olympic titles. He is fierce and funny and a very smart young man. And he absolutely knows who he is.
Who cares if he's gay or not gay. I loved Rudy Galindo too, openly gay and a terrific athlete. Boitano hid his sexuality but was an amazing athlete as well. Who cares if skaters are gay. Bottom line is, I can't do that. Chances are you can't do that. Weir is confident. That's what I love the most about him. I actually hope he keeps competing. I'd love to see him in Russia in 2014. He does America proud.

As for his skating…it was subpar. If he wasn't Johnny Weird this would be an "If You Are Offended" post. He obviously doesn't have any dancing ability. Still laughing here!

First he tried to copy Johnny Carson's opening line for his autobiography, now he's ripping off David Bowie and Adam Ant? Grow some originality, Johnny, and quit repeating images that've already been done by others.

Johnny needs to retain Sandra Bezic, one of the greatest ice skating choreographers and listen to her. She made Boitano and many others, showing off their best skills.

He's a skating Adam Lambert. Johnny is an artist on ice, but this performance was too full of glitz and not enough substance. He can do better. I say that because I admire him.
I had no idea this tv show was seen outside of Canada. The US gets Canadian tv shows, how bizarre.

This program WAS choreographed by Sandra Bezic. So there you go.
This program was meant to be a 'dancy' program, not an athletic program. He and Sandra Bezic worked on it with the intent of it being a one time dance-able program for him to skate in a guest appearance on 'Battle of the Blades', because that's what he was invited to do. He may or may not ever use it again.
The only U.S. fans able to watch this were close to the Canadian border, like a friend of mine in Seattle, or had some kind of satellite access to Canadian TV. U.S. fans couldn't even watch the video posted on the station's website because they had non-Canadian IP addresses. The videos I saw before coming to this site were provided by a friend in Seattle and a lovely Canadian fan who posted a copy of the video.
Blades of Glory does come to mind. Love Johnny, but hated this program.

I couldn't even finish watching the performance. Kurt Browning has a whole lot more grace and skill than this guy. Of course, I am probably biased as he is Canadian.
Re: Fletcher – No more lamer than "Skating With the Stars" which ABC picked up. Battle is a Canadian show where former hockey players team up with pro figure skaters; it's a clash of the skating world. I wouldn't judge it before seeing it.
