I'm on Mike Tyson side on this one. Paparazzi are overly agressive and most time create unsafe situations for the celeb, their families, etc. Paparazzi should know that possibly getting a beat down comes with the territory of their profession. I have zero sympathy for them.

We're animals. We allow each other to get close to each other's offspring, but you can't be surprised if someone gets attacked if they push it too far.

I would not normally defend Mike Tyson (given his history) but in this circumstance the paparazzo was completely in the wrong. Considering Mike Tyson recently lost a young child in a freak accident I can understand that he was being protective. Really how would anyone else react to a complete stranger taking pictures of you and your family?

Again - sick of these paps and their law suits. There purposely get themselves in the way so they can sue and go for a big pay off. They are sneaky and I wouldn't put it passed any of them. Most of them are actually convicted felons for something else and don't want to be filmed themselves. I wouldn't want anyone following me. They could be paedophiles or anything, taking pics of these celebs children; who is know?

I am surprised that the Law allows them in LA. I'm in England and they are bad enough here. B

I am surprised that the Law allows them to be so aggressive in LA. I'm in England and they are bad enough here. But considering how many people in entertainment industry live there. I would think they would be more protected there by laws not less protected. Seems completely backwards. As they have to be there for work. Its there environment. Some times the celebs actually get backinto corners like animals. It looks ridiculous. And they get goaded by the paps trying to get a reaction. If I just went up to someone in my local high street with a camera I would get done for disturbing the public, being a public nuisance all kinds of things. How are they getting away with it? They go on about freedom of the press but when does that cross over to freedom of the individual to walk down the street, or come our of a restaurant in peace?

I am not a fan of Mike Tyson, but even less a fan of the paparazzi. They are scum of the earth and always on the make for a fast buck. They aggressively provoke and intimidate in order to get a reaction, and they all hope for the big money "shot" so they can sue. I loathe them. I hope Mike prevails in this one.

even if he had killed the pap I would not have a problem with that, fcuk the paps

That's bullshit. the pap's just trying to rake in some cash, plus they all need a good slap. Mike can hit me and I'll only ask for a few thousand.

so i guess everyone feels that extreme violence is a reaction to having your picture taken? as someone who has seen paps in action many times…ive never ever EVER seen one being anything but respectful. you guys talk as though you know what the industry is about but you have no clue. also if it werent for paps you wouldnt have any pictures of the celebs you seem so intrigued by. what would you do without them?
