Gotta agree with the people saying she's generic period. It's not just her, a great deal of new music all sounds the same to me these days. The problem is when one person finds a sound that works everyone else jumps on flogs that sound into the ground, making it a generic sound. Look at when Gaga came out, all of a sudden every star was dressing up weird, the problem is there is no originality anymore everyone just follows the trends. I know the Gaga example wasn't an example of sound but I think it highlights what I mean.

I'm a Rihanna stan and I hate "Who's that Chick"! It's so auto-tuned!!! I'm happy she realized the song is very safe and far from special! I agree that "Only Girl in the World" is kinda generic!!! "What's my name" is far from generic! It's a straight up Caribbean-pop song which is Rihanna's genre! No-one else can do that song but her!!!

a lot of people say chris brown ruined her, but the bitch got really lucky with the song umbrella. she put out two albums as an island girl, who ended up only really being known for her first song ever released THEN! for being chris browns girlfriend. she struck gold when writers gave her umbrella and it just added to the fact that she was dating someone who had really blown up …. the only thing that keeps her famous is and always will be chris brown. i'd rather hear katy perry sing her music not to mention her whole "bad girl" "rock star" "unique" attitude and image is as fake as lady gaga's wigs. taylor momsen was telling the truth. i'm really over this chick. time to get a new pop star to replace her in the foursome that is lady gaga, katy perr, kesha and her.
