Is Mark Wahlberg The New Crow?

director-stephen-norrington-aims-to-cast-mark-wahlberg-in-the-crow-remake

He's the LAST person we'd initially think to put in this role, but maybe they're onto something…

Director Stephen Norrington has reportedly offered Mark Wahlberg the title role in his upcoming re-imagining of The Crow, which will reportedly be a "realistic, hard edged, and mysterious" version of the original Brandon Lee/Alex Proyas film!

We wonder if he'll accept the role!

Or who else Norrington will pull in if Marky Mark turns him down!

What do U think?? Do U see Mark Wahlberg as The Crow??

I would like to initiate a pledge for all the celebrities and those in the entertainment industry who are registered to cast a ballot to make the time to vote on 11/2/2010. Also get your friends and fans motivated to vote on 11/2/2010.
Reasons why to VOTE DEMOCRATIC by reading the following accomplishments:
    1. The healthcare reform initiative was passed so anyone can afford insurance 2. Financial Reform laws were passed to regulate Wall Street’s activities to invest ethically and be accountable 3. Unemployment Benefits were extended to those out of work 4. Initiative was passed to keep teachers, firemen, & local/city government employees from being laid off 5. U.S. businesses are being encouraged to create jobs down the ladder but high pay, huge bonuses & expense accounts hamper this growth 6. Grants, Pell Grants & other academic loans were reinstated, whereas republicans suspended these benefits previously 7. 1st Amendment “Freedom of Speech was threatened by the Bush Administration 10. this is blasphemous if this is true! Are you fucking kidding me with this.

  8. 8

    NOOOOOOOOoooooooooooo.

    That is all.

  9. 9

No. No. No. NO. no. No. FUCK no. Marky Mark can NOT be The Crow.

  10. 10

noooo Taylor Lautner would make a much better Crow…he has the body, the moves and the dark mysterious way of the Crow!!

Does no one in Hollywood come up with their own ideas anymore? Remaking The Crow, remaking Rocky Horror, and remaking every other damn movie that came out in the 70s-90s it seems. Brandon Lee is the Crow, and I don't even see why they did sequels to the movie. It's such a cult film, that it really should be left alone. This is just another idea that's just horribly, horribly wrong. Writers need to, you know, write new material. Quit recycling movies and making them worse!

Leave the Crow alone already. The first one was amazing, it didn't need all those shitty sequels. Just leave it alone!

  13. 13

Won't be better than the original, but I'd still pay to see it.

  14. 14

How ’bout that Joseph Gordon-Levitt fellow for the role. He could pull it off.

NOOOOOOOO!!! Not Mark Wahlberg! He will NEVER be The Crow! That role needs someone lean but muscular, and Wahlberg is NOT someone who fits the description. Get Joseph Gordon Levitt if you must remake The Crow, he's a far better choice!

    Re: fuelneve

hmm cyler as the crow i could buy that.

    better then mark w

  17. 17

Ugh I miss Brandon… all the others who played the crows killed it like they sucked. Mark is a great actor but him being the crow is a no no.

  18. 18

fuck marky mark. fuck the "new crow". the sequels were utter shit.

  19. 19

Mark Wahlberg is the worst actor. I have no clue why he is still around. I hate everything he is a part of. I wanted to watch Boardwalk Empire and was disappointed to see he was a part of it. Maybe he will go away someday soon.

If Hollywood HAS to remake 'The Crow', cast Taylor Kistch, NOT Mark Wahlberg
