Awesome choices! It's interesting because everyone will be "short" in the main group, so less worrying about size effects.

Love this guy and glad to see him as Bilbo. He'll be awesome. Andy Serkis is just fantastic and needs more recognition. Love all the rest of them too: No one can pull off Gandalf like McKellan. No one. Okay, yes I am a big 'ol Hobbit/Lord of the Rings fan and can't wait for this one.

Amazing, amazing cast - I almost exploded of squee when I read the press release this morning that Richard Armitage AND Aidan Turner were cast - I don't know how the screen will hold so much talent and beauty!

Yes he will be an excellent Bilbo. Freeman is totally hilarious as Ali G's sidekick in Ali G indahouse. Great choice by filmmakers. As for RICHARD ARMITAGE!!!! BRILLIANT AND INSPIRED CHOICE as Thorin. Richard Armitage = TOTAL HEARTTHROB. Get ready North America for an onslaught of Richard Armitage coming very soon. OMG see BBC's North & South (by Elizabeth Gaskell NOT the Swayze one) if you want to be convniced. ROACHARD ARMITAGE OMG Thorin is going to be such a BABE in the Hobbit.

Miley Cyrus Insists Alcohol Is 'Way More Dangerous' Than Weed! Shares Her New Priorities As An Adult & Artist!

Perhaps Amanda Bynes would have been better off giving Miley Cyrus her bong!

The We Can’t Stop singer interviewed with Rolling Stone magazine for their July 4th issue, and revealed her fairly liberal thoughts on drugs and alcohol.

Given her stoner reputation, we’re not totally surprised. Though, when asked to clarify her penchant for weed, she said:

"You can't ask someone that and expect them to say yes... I did a song with Snoop Dogg called 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,' so people can put it together for themselves."

That sounds fairly straightforward to us. Mileybird then went ahead to state that she thinks there are things much, much worse than a little bit of the green stuff:

"I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana -- people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don't care... I've seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I've never seen that happen with weed."

She added:

"As long as it isn't illegal, there are far more dangerous things. And it's legal in the state of California. So I'm happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be."

Well, Miley, marijuana isn’t exactly legal in California unless you have a prescription, so we’re not entirely sure what you mean. But, okay...

As for her transition from Disney teen idol to mature pop star, she said:
