Bones is such a boring show, I can't believe they are still making it, let alone creating a Spin off.
Hardly sounds that a spin-off to me. Just sounds like a they are using Bones as a back-door pilot.
Too much blood and gore for my taste–I dont watch it any more now.

Doesn't really sound like a spin-off. Bones is supposed to be based on the Kathy Reichs novels about Tempe Brennan (which I love!!) but it is soooo boring. But The Locater has nothing to do with those books.
Bones is one of my fave tv shows, but I don't see a spin off being very successful. Come to think of it, when has a spin off EVER been successful?

Starflower11, successful spinoffs: NCIS (spinoff of JAG), NCIS:LA, CSI: Miami, CSI: New York, And how about Angel? Not to mention the three successful L&O spinoffs: SVU, CI, & LA.
