Sources are reporting that next season of True Blood is going to be filled with a bunch of new faces, both human and supernatural alike.

Casting is going on now to fill the coveted roles on the hit show, which include:

- A palm reader named Marnie, who becomes possessed by a with

- Portia, Andy's sister, who is described as a "good-looking" lawyer

- An Asian-American cagefighter named Naomi who'll have a relationship with one of her female competitors.

- Queen Mab, ruler of a fantasy land, who is said to be "beautiful but volatile."

- Emory Broome, a conservative type character

-Suzanne McKittrick, who throws a party to bond with "her kind", which we're not sure if that means vampire, werewolf or whatever, but a party is a party so who cares!

Seeing as the show is supposed to go into production next month, we gather these parts will be filled soon.

Anyone U would like to see in these roles?

Bleh, I love the show, but, come on people, the appeal of Portia is that she is fat, frumpy, and completely average.

Portia isn't supposed to be good looking. She's supposed to be less good looking than Sookie, which is why Sookie doesn't get why Bill hooks up with her.

Ehh…I really love this show but there are just TOO many things on the show that have nothing to do with the books. It's good to shake things up sometimes but geez….last season I was like "what in the hell is going on?!" I am just praying that this season it will still be Eric that loses his memory. Cause I really wanna see some Eric/Sookie shower scenes!

This show is running off the rails. This may become a maybe see from a must see…

All of that has nothing to do with the books. I feel like they're trying to make it too complex. Just stick with the characters Charlaine Harris gave us. I like the changes in last season, and I like that it's not exactly like the books because it makes it exciting to watch, but adding too many new characters is going to ruin it. I probably won't be as into it as I was.

Bill doesn't hook up with Portia, in the books it turns out that he owes that family a debt. In the books Andy and Portia are fronting, they are broke and Bill, being Bill all mysterious and not forthcoming is helping them. I'm not sure (Don't remember actually) if Bill is an ancestor of Andy and Portia or if he took the life of one of their ancestor. Must read the book again. lol. But yeah, she's NOT beautiful, but plain, overweight and dumpy. A sort of sad character in the books. Check out their message boards.

Portia briefly dates Bill and turns out to be her great great grandfather and leaves the bellefleurs quite a bit of money. They're probably adding some new people to go with a Bill storyline since in the book Bill is in Peru the whole time and the focus is mainly on Eric. I've learned after last season that they've changed it way too much to compare it to the books though, you have to just take the show for what it is.

Getting way too far from the books now… not sure how much longer I can hold on if they keep adding all this randomness.

I like that the show is different from the books, but so many characters that have nothing to do with the books? I don't like it. I just hope they don't include Quinn in the show. I hated the way that whole story panned out.
