Taylor Swift Admits Writing Songs About Boyfriends

So check yourself before you wreck yourself, Jake Gyllenhaal or you're going to end up on her fourth album!

It's no secret that Taylor Swift draws inspiration from her own life for her music and mostly her love life. But as she explained in a recent interview about the album, considering her history, all of her ex-loves have "had fair warning at this point."

That means if you were surprised there is song about you out there, John Mayer, you haven't been paying attention.

Swifty further explains:

"For two years I was living life and I kind of write it real time. I wrote these moments in time. The songs are written when I'm feeling what it is I'm discussing in the song. It's all kind of done when it's happening."

Hmm. Are you writing a song right now about strolling around Brooklyn with a prince of Persia? Just curious!

she needs to find something better to do other than look for a boyfriend……….maybe she'd find something other than broken relationships to write about…………

  2. 2

    She's a fucking moron.

  3. 3

or she could act like 20 year old she is and keep her private life private.

  4. 4

She's very young, it's natural for people that age to write about relationships since it's their main concern.

  5. 5

or maybe she's just smart. how much free publicity has she gotten for her new album from these songs? who cares if they're about some dumb celebrity she's dated. all that matters is she's going to rake in a lot of money on this album.

  6. 6

Everybody writes about their life but its more exciting when you are left wondering who the song was written for. With her its so easy she dates someone they break up conclusion - there is a song on her next album for him.

  7. 7

    ugh! T-Swizzle is T-Homo! moron!

  8. 8

Bore! you reported this same thing last week. =/

  9. 9

I rather have her write songs than take drugs to numb it.

  10. 10

oh god sorry but thats pathetic…get over it!

  11. 11

Damn, when is this alien face gonna grow up. Isnt she in her 20's. She's still sings about being 15 and boys and all that drama. Grow the fuck up you annoying bitch, your little girl act is tiresome.

Re: Chinwe Okorie Ŧ – Or she could do something crazy like deal with it like every other adult. Why does there have to be drugs, or writing, can't she just be a big girl and understand life goes on. I guess not, it's pretty sad that you would assume drugs is the other outlet for immature teenager angst…oh wait, she's not a teenager, my bad.

  13. 13

She's 20 not a teenager relationships SHOULDN'T be all she cares about. She's very immature plus she has a attitude to me at least recently. I wonder why guys keep breaking up with her so fast? She's crazy. She can't keep a guy for over a year… like I said I wonder why? I hope John or Joe openly starts talking about her and let's see what they say about her.

  14. 14

Oh fuck me. This is really getting old… I whine sometimes about relationship issues but this is fucking ridiculous. Taylor Swift isn't really true country music anyway, that's always annoyed me.

  15. 15

She's sending a terrible message to her young fans. She makes it seem like its OKAY to pine for years over an ex.

  16. 16

It'll be cool when she writes her first song about getting herpes… I can't stand this bitch.

  17. 17

She looks like she just spotted a tree to start gnawing on.Watch it Jake, finding yourself in one of her songs may not be the worst of it.

  18. 18

LOVE LOVE LOVE. I bet we get the best songs when she becomes a mother. Anyway…she is here to stay. You can`t deny talent. No wonder Scott Borchetta is so protective of her…she made his career and record label. And i bullshit you not. Everybody, who cares for Taylor, knows the story.

And she must be nice person- her band has been with her since day one.

Re: ParalyZzzZzer – shes going to be 21. shes an ADULT. but she handles life like shes 16.

  20. 20

Still can't beleive Jake is even interested in this little girl… Although Reese did always look like a kid and still does so maybe he's into young kid looking blondes that sound dim witted when they talk… We all have our tastes right?

  21. 21

Re: hoochpit – ohh boo… she in the entertainment business, what do you do think most musicians do when they have a lot on their mind. The best music come from personal stories. You know better. Its not immature to write in your journal, journals can turn into many things.. for me i am a writer, i write things down. Its therapeutic. You don't have to be a teenager to do drugs!!!

  22. 22

Who hasn't written a song about their ex? Janet Jackson, Britney, Justin, Pink… And the list goes on and on. They just don't blab about it honey. Its more fun if we just listen for ourselves with out all the hoopla.

  23. 23

Since when is it fucking original to write songs about your personal life?? Why is this news?

  24. 24

She's an adult, who writes songs that sound like the spark notes version of a 12 year old's diary entries.
Good for her that she actual writes her own material, but personally, I find it immature and lacking creativity ( easy, nursery rhyme-lyrics : "do"/"through", "start"/"heart" , "call/fall"…etc)
    But hey, that's my opinion.
What is she going to do when she runs out of material? Date more men?

  25. 25

This immature little girl is starting to get annoying. What goes on behind closed doors in their relationship should stay private..Unless abuse is involved.

  26. 26

there's a difference between music inspired by your feelings and personal life and singing "Dear John (Mayer), thank you for fucking me while I was underage" or "dear Joe, please tell me you used protection, I'm sure Camilla has an STD". jeez, get a life woman

  27. 27

    she's so fucking lame!
