Howard K. Stern Found Guilty! Jury Reaches A Verdict In Anna Nicole Smith Drug Trial!

| Filed under: Anna Nicole SmithDrugsLegal Matters

Anna Nicole Smith's long-running drug trial is expected to come to a conclusion any minute now!

According to the judge's clerk, the jury foreperson sent a note to the judge, claiming that after 12 days, the jury had reached verdicts in the specific case against Howard K. Stern, Smith's lawyer and boyfriend, and two other doctors, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor and Khristine Eroshevich.

The three are charged with conspiring to enable Smith's drug addiction, and using false names to obtain the prescriptions in which to do so.

So tragic.

We sincerely hope that justice is finally served.

Howard K. Stern has been found guilty of two counts of conspiracy for enabling Smith's prescription drug problem.

Khristine Eroshevich was convicted of four counts, while Sandeep Kapoor was cleared of all counts.

Such an ugly, tragic situation. We're happy that those responsible are being held accountable and that this all can finally be put to rest.

It's about time these enablers start getting charge for part of the deaths. Seems the stars get used and the people around them give them whatever they want. Friends like that will kill you.
I read he gets sentence in Jan but of course there is an appeal pending.

When are we going to hold drug addicts 100% responsible for their own behavior? If people around them don't enable, they are cut off.

Thank God for the JURY! The Judge was the most biased Judge I've ever seen! He bent over backwards excluding most of the evidence against all these CREEPS. That the jury saw through what he was up to is nothing short of a miracle.

I disagree with all comments that Howard Stern or the psychiatrist had anything to do with Anna Nicole's death. Although she played the dumb blond, Anna Nicole was a very smart lady. She wanted drugs and she used Stern and the psych to get them. She would have gotten drugs regardless, and she was wasted on drugs long before Howard Stern or the doctors involved in this case. This case was about someone in the DA's office wanting fame and glory. No one cared enough about Anna Nicole to suggest she should stop using drugs until after she died. She was always stoned on her reality show and everyone got a kick out of watching it because she was so outrageously and obviously stoned. Stern at least loved her, and it is not his fault she wrapped him around her finger, as they say. I do believe he was just trying to help her out, and she would have gone on the streets to find drugs if they did not prescribe and give them to her. The only thing they were convicted of was using false names on the prescriptions. Jury didn't even find she was an addict, from what I read. The Judge wasn't biased, he just saw that the case was over-charged and based on the lack of evidence to support most of the charges, threw those out before trial.

    Hope he's disbarred.
