      If you saw her on SNL, it was clear she can't sing!! I was so horrified for her I kept covering my eyes, she should never sing live again!!! My boyfriend woke up to her singing on SNL and asked why I was singing and he and I both know I'm tone deaf.       Katy is a hit-factory, this one is good and allows her to stretch her voice with some added auto-tune, the harmonies are very good and song is well written and meaningful to a large audience of her fans (re: gays). The production and especially strings are a great addition to her disco mix sound, they are very compatible on this tune and will sound good on car radios and ipod ear buds (low-fi). This is miles better that California Gurls which seemed calculated and ran out of ideas about 1/2 way through (Snoop-dog??) at least she did not include any rap which is so 15 minutes ago.

      The video is nice and I like the concept, even though the part with the lady giving birth disturbed me for some reason.
