Martha Stewart and her staff designed Bette's costume. Bette was on Martha's show the other day and, from the parts she showed her, the finished product is beautiful. She is a "cypress tree" … the brown fabric is burned-out, hand painted velvet - Martha had the fabric designer in the audience to explain how it was made. Bette loves absolutely lovely … as always

It was like experiencing the Bush Administration all over again when his party set up illegal procedures to spy on others.
