People dont really know what they buy now at days. They just see it on tv and they want to get it. This woman is pretty and she would do awsome as a model, but as a singer she has nothing at all. She has no voice, and her personality is not that atractive. I would prefer see her in a perfume commercial, rather than hear her ruin my ears.

Even among the talentless, awful, terrible pop singers we have in the US, she will NEVER break the States. To be British and good enough to make it in the States, you have to be incredibly talented, i.e. Leona Lewis, Elton John, Muse, Queen, the Beatles, Radiohead, etc. Or a fluke or just lucky like the Spice Girls. But at least they had CATCHY pop music. And Cheryl doesn't even have catchy good pop music so she has NO chance of success here. Americans don't like shitty Brit pop from people who can't write their own music and sing without auto tune. We have our own shitty pop singers who do that; there is no room for ones who talk funny to boot.

sure everyone loves music that has substance and comes from the heart, but is it so wrong to love a feel-good song that makes you wanna dance?! she may not be the best singer and she might not have written the lyrics but people wouldn't buy it if they didn't like it. the fact that a member of girls aloud sold more copies than a worldwide star like Rihanna must count for something??? it's not that bad a song, take a chill pill of 10!!

Kylie and Madonna are basically British (I know, they are really Aussie and Madonna is American)…I'm not a skeptic and Cheryl Cole is sweet and that might be an endearing quality…Besides, she is going to be on X Factor America as a judge and is doing a song with RIhanna soon. So she just might have a chance.
