Oksana Digging Up Old Dirt To Fight Mel

mel gibson manic depressive oksana using documentary to prove

We'll hand it to her lawyers - they are doing their homework.

Sources have learned that Oksana Grigorieva's lawyers are planning to use Mel Gibson's own words against him today in court. Mel is slated to give his deposition today and Oksana's lawyers will question him as to the state of his mental health.

As proof that Mel is "unstable", her lawyers will present a documentary that aired two years ago on Australian TV. The doc, titled "Acting Class of 1977," is about high-profile actors who graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art is Austrailia. Mel agreed to be interviews for the film and is documented saying: "I had really good highs but some very low lows. I found out recently I'm manic depressive."

And that's where Okana's team plans to nail him! Whether it will work or not is not for us to say. Still, if would have been a lot better if he had kept his mouth shut! (In more than one instance.)

Being manic depressive is not a crime and cannot be used against a person in court unless, perhaps, they can prove he was not taking adequate care of himself. There are many treatments available to keep the condition in check. This will backfire on O because they are using a medical condition to prove something he's already admitted to and also makes them appear to be persecuting him for his medical condition.

actually it's disgusting that she would try to use this against him. I'm also manic/depressive and I don't think having a mental illness is anything to be ashamed of. As a matter of fact if more people would come forward who are bi-polar then maybe other people would understand it more and show some compassion

nail him for what? having an illness?!!!!!!!!!!!??????

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE??!?!?!! BEING MENTALLY ILL, AND SUFFERING FROM SOMETHING SUCH AS MANIC DEPRESSION/BI-POLAR IS NOT A CRIME.

He has every right to parent just the same as anyone else, unless it can be PROVEN that he is a BAD PARENT. So, unless that video has him admitting to child abuse, there is no reason being manic depressive - and his being aware of his condition and discussing it - should keep him from having custody. if anything it just proves that he has been seeking help since that far back, and has been taking steps to control his illness.

As long as he is seeing someone to help him with it, and taking his medicines - if he has some…there is nothing to show that this would be a problem.
He has parental rights, and it is completely ridiculous for her to try and take them away meanwhile stealing 20,000 a month from him in 'child support' payments.
If she wont let him see the child, she should not take his money. If she really cared about the safety of the child she would refuse all money and fight for sole custody. She is a money grubbing evil whore.
    SHAME ON YOU.

Being manic depressive doesnt guarantee that is going to "hit" or "insult" anybody. In fact, depressive people do the LEAST possible cause they feel they have no energy for anything at all. Apart from that, it was years ago, what if he CURED? oooh. Only a psychiatrist can tell if he is or not mentaly insane. Why they just dont pay a professional to clarify that instead looking for useless answers anywhere else.

Perez makes it sound like manic depression/bipolar is a crime or something to be ashamed of. Way to add to the stigma dude! Way to help set mental illness awareness back 25 years or so. I have the same illness and I've never butchered any kids as far as I know, although this illness has me a great deal of personal suffering throughout my life. It took me about 15 years to find the courage to tell my friends what was wrong me. Maybe I should have kept it to myself for fear of legal action or more shame. Thanks for that dude!

To go to such lengths to nail a guy who might be manic depressive is lowest of the low depravity, but nothing this broad might resort to, to get to Mel's money would surprise me. It could just as easily backfire. I'm actually astonished at the inner courage it would take to conquer the heights Gibson has reached while dealing with (perhaps undiagnosed) manic depression. It would explain a lot including the phone calls.

That wasn't exactly digging deep… That is a pretty well known quote from him.

  8. 8

getting quotes from 1977??? how desperate can she get???

  9. 9

honestly, how obvious can she make it that she doesn't (/ never did) care about him and is just trying to get his money? someone who truly cares for someone with a mental illness wouldn't go there. she is the sick person here.

  10. 10

he maybe a dick.. but she needs to go to hell already she is selfish and gross..i know that money isn't just going to her baby.. shit id be happy with the 5-10k let alone 1000.. she is a bitch..

  11. 11

My God, will that bitch stop at nothing to ruin Mel's career?!? If anything, she should be trying to help him deal with these issues instead of tearing him down.

  12. 12

Sounds like the defense is "grasping @ Straws" with THIS as their new 'reason to cut custody' If he's the dad, and he (unlike so many other Men) actually WANTS to be in the child's life she has NO right to keep him from it!
No way the courts will go along with this crap, it's called "Parental Alienation" she is trying to KEEP a father from his daughter, and he is fighting Tooth-n-Nail just to have a place in her life as he SHOULD be allowed to do!
Shame on the defense team for going along with this rubbish!

I think thats really hitting below the belt, she's stooped to a new low to try and get more money. Being manic depressive is not his fault.. I 'am surprised this is allowed.
