    When Garth put on his show here in SoCal to benefit the fire depts in California who so bravely performed for months when we had devastating fires, not only was the show televised but both shows sold out in minutes and all I can say is that he not only an amazing and talented performer but he's genuine and real with a heart of gold. Anyone lucky enough to see him in concert will never forget it! He's a true performer!

    I would give a quarter to see this fat slob and his 17 assistants put him into those ridiculous jeans he wears. He must simply never change them! He must put a pair on and wash them with him inside them! I can figure out no other explanation! Ridiculous. Sad. Hillbilly.

    I live in Nashville and know the aftermath this flood caused. There are still many suffering and his genourisity is very much appreciated. People on here making comments of his appearance make me sick because the man is doing a good deed and all people can talk about is his appearance. I hope nothing bad ever happens to you and you need help maybe then appearance will not be so important.

    The guy puts on one hell of a show. The guy has personality and showmanship. You can't not have a good time at his concerts.

    All you assholes commenting on his weight… the guy is retired. And to camaguey, may you rot in your cynicism.
    I met Garth once. He was doing a promo for Sevens, an album he released in 1997. He did 7 appearances across canada. He had to rush in and out of each one to make the flight to the next. He still took time to come over, in the rain and snow, and give my friend and I a hug and to thank us for coming to see him. He held my hands and told me they were freezing and he rubbed them for me to warm them.
    This is a man that actually cares about people. A man who would help a stranger. A man that would forgo millions of dollars in his own pocket to help strangers. What the hell have any of you critics done that could ever compare?

    This is NOT about a comeback! He cares! He did this here in So. CA for the fire fighters. He's a kind heart and that is what should be said about him. I would love to see a full show from him. I did see him perform s few songs and ask Trisha to marry him and he was awesome@!! I say way to go to Garth for helping the ones in need down in TN!.

    Gah, I saw him when i was like 7. I wanna see him again, freaking LOVE him. Highly disappointed that he's not on Itunes. Hope you come back Garth, you have my support

    Whether you like him or not, one fact remains. Garth is the #1 solo artist of all time. He's sold more records than anyone except The Beatles. More than Elvis. More than Michael Jackson. More than Brittney, Janet, Eminem, and Prince COMBINED. It's no surprise he can sell out nine shows, 140,000 tickets in all, in the same city. I'm not a fan but you got to give the man his due credit.

    The truth is that there was only one concert scheduled, the tickets went on sale this Saturday and sold out almost immediately. He agreed to do another one and the tickets went up just afterwards, and he kept doing this until he'd sold out 9 concerts. They were not planning on doing that many. I have many friends and co-workers that were devastated by the Nashville floods. It was a horrible time for our city. But events like this have helped so many recover. WE ARE NASHVILLE! And we are coming back and will be better and stronger. Thank you Garth for helping so many that went through this terrible tragedy!
