More Deets On Keith Olbermann's Return To MSNBC!

He may be acting a little rash and stubborn, but you can't deny that he makes some pretty strong points!

Although he was suspended for breaking company rules and making monetary contributions to political candidates and their campaigns, Keith Olbermann will soon be back on MSNBC, but he is NOT happy about what went down, and expects a few things from the network in order for him to return!

An insider explains:

"Keith is furious about the way this has all been handled and insisted that MSNBC bosses apologize to him before he would agree to return. Keith sees himself as the star of MSNBC, the person who put them on the map and discovered fellow network anchors Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell. To be treated like this by the network he helped shape, he considers disgusting. In addition to an apology, Keith is demanding that the rules be changed. Keith thinks it's unfair that FOX News anchors can make contributions and support candidates and he can't. It's his money that he has earned, he should be allowed to do whatever he wants with it. What sort of country do we live in where an actor can trash a hotel room with an escort and drugs and Keith can't donate money to people running for office he believes in? It makes no sense. If they think they can slap Keith's wrist and have him to return a few days later like nothing happened, they are wrong. They picked the wrong guy. Keith clearly won this battle. Not only has he got the bosses to say sorry, but he's also got the company to review its ethic rules. You watch — his rating on Tuesday when he returns will be bigger than ever, giving him even more power at MSNBC."

Wow! That's pretty ballsy, even for him!

We're glad he'll be back, but we think it probably would be better if both parties just quietly moved forward!

The rules were still broken, and he should be respectful of his part in that and grateful that he didn't get in more trouble!

What do U think?? Is Keith's behavior justified??

It's only ballsy if HE says it publicly, you flaming ass. Yet another nameless "insider" is quoted. You're a douche.

  2. 2

The rules are STUPID! He should get those changes made in the rules…basic American right to be able to give to whom you believe will help the world.

  3. 3

He makes a good point, but a television journalist has to be IMPARTIAL.

Here's the problem, every station has the policy of if you make donations publicly you get suspended, so his insults towards fox, as always, are stupid and ignorant and without merit. You do it anonymously and you wouldn't have this problem, but he wanted publicity, which you happily give him right perez? …idiot.

  5. 5

the rule is, gays cannot marry. some rules are meant to be broken.

  6. 6

Keith is is a blowhard. Makes up crap all the time. He violated their code of conduct and should be disciplined. He is way to big for his britches. Fox not their news anchors made donations. The leftstream just cannot take it when their view isn't omnipotent . He is a clown and no serious news person listens to him

Please get this characture back on TV. He does more to help the right's fight against liberalism then anyone on FOX.

  8. 8

Nobody even watches MSNBC with all those super liberal people that make NO sense!!!!

  10. 10

Great. So he is responsible for Rachel Madcow. Those are grounds for a flogging there. She is an asshat.

If you do not like company policy, go and work somewhere else you jackass.

  11. 11

Take a look at MSNBC ratings Mario, Obermann amd MSNBC get killed by FOX every night.

  12. 12

  13. 13

Olberman is a DoucheBag. Always has been and always will be. And if he likes FoxNews' rules better than why doesn't he go work for them. He demonizes Fox nd then wants NBC to adopt their rules. HAHAH Like I said OlberDouche

  14. 14

Seriously, HATE that pompous, venemous asshole! Why the hell does MSNBC care???!!! Their ratings have been in the absolute shitter, even with that asshole on!!!!! Ba-hahahahah

  15. 15

Re: rascie – Couldn't have said it better myself. This guy is the Village Idiot.

  16. 16

This guy is an egotistical, BIG MOUTH, nobody, talentless jerk. What an ego. I thought, was hoping he was gone FOR GOOD (not that I ever click onto that channel, but when channel-surfing I might see his obnoxious face and hear his voice). But he's back AND DEMANDING stuff. What an ego. He should be smacked HARD.

  17. 17

They shouldn't try and compare this situation to Fox news. Fox news is a huge joke. At least MSNBC is trying to have unbiased rules, even if they may not be in the end.

The whole point is that Journalists should be held to a higher standard because they are very influential. They are seen and heard on the news every single day. I understand where MSNBC is coming from.

  18. 18

He should quit and get a job at Fox….

He makes a great point. His is one of the highest rated programs on MSNBC. It's one of the problems with liberal news television is all the rules they have to follow. Fox news lets their people donate to whoever they want. Hell, they can make up stories and tell all the lies they want as long as it's about democrats and specifically Obama.

Hang in there Keith, you egomaniac! NEVER back down from seeking a public apology and changing the rules! That way maybe we never have to watch your crazy rants again! Keep on thinking that the network will fold without you! Oh, wait, they're in the toilet already. Yes we'll give you credit for that.

Re: girlfriend – What are you smoking? Get your head out of your ass.

Re: tasha – Try watching Foxnews for the first time in your life before you parrot the liberal lies. Saying the opposite of what's true doesn't make it true. Can you point out just ONE single lie you purport foxnews says? I didn't think so. Learn how to think for yourself and not be so stupid.

  23. 23

I'm not sure I'd be making a big deal of being the "star" of MSNBC considering that their ratings suck hard.

  24. 24

This is the one time that he wish he worked for FOX. No one watches MSNBC anyways.

  25. Pisky says – reply to this

Re: girlfriendRe: tasha – It is astounding how many idiots like you two exist in the world, like Bill maher too right? LOL!!! Olberman has abysmal ratings just as MSNBC in general do, Fox dominates them on a nightly basis, along with CNN and network news. Olberman and Maher spew lies on a nightly basis, hoping that the ignorant and the gullable (I.E. morons like yourselves) will eat it up and spread it around. Fox , especially oreilly and beck, swat down bullshit lies and misconstrude statements by NBC and MSNBC on a daily basis, please watch Fox once in your life, and for the first time in your life, don't be ignorant. MSNBC accusing Fox of lies is the biggest joke ive ever heard lmao.

This guy is a fucking communist and I cant believe you actually agree with what he says. Everything about him is totally the opposite of what this country was created and founded and people like your family that had immigrate here should understand that.
He should move to Cuba or Venezuela and see how much fun all his ideas really are…

  27. 27

i just realized i wasn't popular in high school because i had loser friends

  28. 28

Hey FOXNEWS: If you even Consider hiring that mf'er, I will NEVER WATCH you again!

  29. 29

Please read this to see why most people have no clue about this. FoxNews allow Hannity, Beck, & O'Reilly to say their opinions & support candidates because they are show HOSTS. They don't ANCHOR special events such as elections. MSNBC tries to have it both ways. KO is a show host & gets to voice his opinions. BUT then he also ANCHORS events such as elections & mocks conservatives, laughs at them while being interviewed by another 'anchor'. BIG difference between hosts & anchors. KO's Coundown is no more than The View. Anchoring is a whole different gig.

  30. 30

Let's see what he has to say on The View b/c it was announced earlier he'll be a guest there tomorrow. I hope he says something stupid and MSNBC can give him the boot permanently. As earlier pointed out in The View, when Keith hosted the Election Coverage he assumed the role as an anchor therefore he was not a commentator and should have remained impartial unlike O Reilly, Hannity, and Beck who were commentators during the coverage.

  31. 31

Who is Keith Olbermann, and what is this MSNBC of which you speak?

  32. 32

YAY!!!! I'm excited he is coming back. He did break the rules….but he is also RIGHT. It is his money and it was a total of 6k split between 3 people….Not millions upon millions. No one ever calls out FOX with the contributions they make to the candidate of their choice. Good for you Keith and welcome back. I will be looking for you on Tuesday.

  33. 33

I didnt even know he was still on the air. Its always been obvious who he was for and who he was against; they didnt need to verify it by checking his donations. Guess the MSNBC big wigs dont watch his show either.

  34. 34

Wahh! I know I signed on to those rules, but now I don't like them. So apologize to me and change the rules because I'm special. LOL What a baby.

  35. 35

He's an asshole. So that means he should be on MSNBC with the other assholes.

  36. 36

He's so warped, I enjoy watching him. He's a total trainwrecker and a loser.

  37. 37

MSNBC ratings TANKED on election night and Keith was in charge. They suspend Keith and basically give Keith a nice long weekend to rest. They stir up controversy about Fox Network's donations via Rachel Maddow and get lots of attention then bring Keith back to give MSNBC better ratings to hear what he will say first. The public has been "PLAYED" by MSNBC and Keith. LOL

  38. 38

OK lemme see if I have this right . . . he broke the policies of the network that he works for and cries about it because the network that he lambasts constantly has different policies.

He sounds like a 4 year old spoiled brat.

  39. 39

Keith Olberman is a d-bag buffoon of the highest order. His arrogance is so overwhelming that on those rare occasions when he makes a valid point, it goes unheard because the TV is broken from the shoe that has been hurled at the screen.

Fox News has gained such prominence in part becasue MSNBC is so awful. They really have become a parody of themselves.

  40. 40

Then change the policy Keith instead of thinking you are above it.
I am a fan of yours but this is shit!
