SuBo Keeps Going Strong!

There's no way to stop the power of SuBo!

Susan Boyle's sophomore album, The Gift, released this week and she can expect it to keep on giving right through the holidays.

So far, the album has sold between 240-260k this week alone!

Amazing, but will it do as well as her first album did? That was pretty epic!

What do U think?

oh who is the realtor in the background how much does she cost or what does she get per film? 20 million dollars?

Of course, Subo won't hit the numbers of her debut CD, practically no promotion this time. But she'll be #1 or 2 for the rest of the year and will be platinum by Xmas. Meanwhile, IDAD is still selling and she has a new uptempo record out in the Spring. Subo will have enough money to pave Scotland with gold, by the end of 2011.

    Glad she is doing fine.

The first CD was #1 in the world after 6 short weeks. Lightening doesn't often strike twice, and not only that, this is a holiday CD so sales were fall after Christmas. That's the nature of Christmas CD's.
    But it will do well.

There's ol Simon and his "million dollar baby" - Suze is gonna have a great year. Love her new xmas CD.

Wow, love the photo. I am sure that a Christmas album will not sell as good as the frist one. It is usually the case for any artist anyway, she will still do good though.

Great picture. Perez has taste and class. I'm so happy for Susan Boyle. What an incredible story.

In that picture, Ms Boyle had been singing for Prince Charles. The little lady's 15 min. of fame just keeps going on and on. Her new album, by the way, is shockingly beautiful. She is truly a legend in the making.

I can only hope she doesn't do another Lou Reed.

I'm so over this woman. She cancells appearances left and right for the lamest of reasons. She can't get her act together and I'm sorry, she steals other artists songs and makes money off of them. I don't find anything good about that. I'm not bothering to listen to her anymore. She's made her money, now she can go back to Scotland.

She looks like a completely different person to the one who started out on Britain's Got Talent. Much better!

I think that Susan Boyle's cd album will be forever remembered in the top 20 Xmas albums of all time!

Kifferslady….I just wanted to mention that Susan, like every Artist, must pay every other Artist for use of their songs. These Artists, such as Madonna form contracts and earn royalties. Just wanted you to know that no one is ripping-off anyone's songs. (Reba McIntire just made a deal with Beyonce for her song "If I Were A Boy!")

    It's All Good!

It is kinda sad that anyone thinks singing other writer's songs is "stealing" them when in truth, it is making them even more money! No worries, however. Susan Boyle is doing wonderfully well. Her new album is stunning, she has sung now for the Pope and the future King of England. She has a new album already in the works for Spring, she has published an amazing autobiography and she is still the grounded, unpretentious person she was when she first took those 6 busses to Glasgow. Go, SuBo. Please continue to give us beautiful music for a long, long time!!!

Woweee amazing what a make over can do but she's still bat shit crazy.

"The Gift" is fabulous! It is unrealistic to expect it to hit the unbelievable highs of IDAD, especially being a Christmas album. But #1 or #2 for the year for a CD released in November is certainly not bad! :) Susan is such a lovely lady, and her voice is pure crystal. This will be a Christmas classic album for years to come! I absolutely love it, and am so looking forward to her third, "upbeat" album coming out in the Spring. You go, SuBo! I am so proud of you.

I know why you like her Perez because she looks like a tranny.
