Google Leaker Fired!

google employee fired for leaking company news

This person HAD to know that this wasn't a spectacular idea.

An employee was terminated by Google for leaking news about the company's decision to give its employees 10% raises and $1,000 holiday bonuses.

Here's what a Google spokesperson had to say about the leaked news:

"While we don't typically comment on internal matters, we do believe that competitive compensation plans are important to the future of the company."

We would never mess with Google like this! What happens when this employee applies for another job and their potential employer decides to "google" them? We'd be terrified to see what would come up!

Would U have the guts to mess with Google?

Hmmm.. are we sure this isn't a publicity stunt?? I'm sure they'd actually be really happy to let everyone know how well they pay their employees..

Oh Joy. Lost his job, can't pay his bills and another foreclosure. He will probably
be complaining about how bad the economy is real soon LOL People can be
so stupid sometimes. I just hope he is single and no wife or children
that reply on his pay check.

Very sad for this person…but in life, loyalty is everything and we must remember that all the time.

It is funny how those who are commenting below find the actions of this guy as stupid (just because he was fired) while am sure that gossiping fill their daily life. Come on guys we are not robots we are humans and saying to our family memebers/ friends that our company gave us a raise or incentive is not that big deal…I believe that this is an advertisement for google and it is not based on a true story, otherwise the story is true and they purposely fire him for advertising purposes.
