That's one of the cooler trailers I've seen in a long time. I'm on board. Hell, I'm going to see Skyline today and that's going to suck massivley.

I love how LA always boasts/boosts its importance in the world. If extra terrestrials attacked places of importance sorry to break it to you LA would not be one of them.

I just got back from seeing Skyline. I quite enjoyed it. It was a gorgeous movie that didn't take itself too seriously but it knew what it wanted to accomplish. It's funny, I can see why Sony Pictures wanted to sue Hydraulx Productions. The Brothers Strauss (brothers who independently financed Skyline) own Hydraulx and never informed Sony Pictures that Skyline would be premiering 4 months before Battle: Los Angeles. it's essentially the same movie only from different points of view. However, I will say, the Aliens had a bright idea with the "genius" blue lights. I'd be drawn to them as well.

Was disappointed in Skyline: never got to understand ~ anything about the aliens. The actions of the few actors that were in the movie a majority of the time seemed nonsensical (e.g., staying right in front of a huge penthouse window for what seemed forever while a huge evil alien was on the other side). Note: if you like sci fi, try a Zecharia Sitchin book — thing is, possibly what he wrote about (he just died) just might be true. All the major bookstores carry his books: leaf through some and check out the pictures.
