Up in the Air Actress Gives Birth To Baby Girl

Up in the Air actress Vera Farmiga and her husband Renn Hawkey welcomed a baby girl named Gytta Lubov Hawkey on Thursday.

This is the second child for the couple, who also have a 22-month-old son named Flynn.

Vera's rep said that both mom and baby are "happy and healthy."

Congrats to the happy family!

Vera Farmiga is an amazing actress and should be a household name. Lucky woman too! She's got to kiss DiCaprio, Damon, Clooney and my favorite PAUL WALKER (rawr) I love her too much to be a hater though. She's an amazing actress and WILL win an Oscar one day!!! Congrats to Vera & baby

Lubov in Russian means "love".Vera's parents are Ukranian/Russian emmigrants so I guess that's why she chose russian name .

The We Can’t Stop singer interviewed with Rolling Stone magazine for their July 4th issue, and revealed her fairly liberal thoughts on drugs and alcohol.

Given her stoner reputation, we’re not totally surprised. Though, when asked to clarify her penchant for weed, she said:

"You can't ask someone that and expect them to say yes... I did a song with Snoop Dogg called 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,' so people can put it together for themselves."

That sounds fairly straightforward to us. Mileybird then went ahead to state that she thinks there are things much, much worse than a little bit of the green stuff:

"I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana -- people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don't care... I've seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I've never seen that happen with weed."

She added:

"As long as it isn't illegal, there are far more dangerous things. And it's legal in the state of California. So I'm happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be."

Well, Miley, marijuana isn’t exactly legal in California unless you have a prescription, so we’re not entirely sure what you mean. But, okay...

As for her transition from Disney teen idol to mature pop star, she said:
