Ha! Once again, bravo, Jon Stewart!

The Daily Show host is none too pleased with John McCain's wife Cindy's flip-flopping on the subject of the repeal of the RIDICULOUS 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' policy, and took the opportunity to slam the senator and his lady friend last night in a HIGHlarious segment he calls "It Gets Worse!"

LOLz!

We couldn't have said it better ourselves!

Thoughts??

Strange, many years ago I like Jon Stewart. Seemed like a fun guy on MTV. It's amazing the amount of hatred I have for him now.

  2. 2

    Ugh. Sacrilege is sooo 1994.

  3. 3

Hmm, I wonder what McCain's problem is? Could he have been anal probed when he was a POW? How sad that he has no good arguments. He really seems out of touch and older than ever in that clip. I am surprised he was ever voted in this last time as he looks very tired. I have a feeling he and his wife go their own way quite often if you know what I mean.

again, if DADT is repealed, a policy that BILL CLINTON PUT INTO AFFECT, what is going to take its place? All of these CELEBRITY IDIOTS are going on and on calling McCain basically a homophobe, but, HOW MANY OF THEM HAVE SERVED IN THE MILITARY? NONE. McCain did though. He KNOWS HOW THE MILITARY IS. Yes, the 5 star Generals probably are civilized, treat everyone decently. YOU THINK THAT A PRIVATE DOES THE SAME? We are talking Jr. High Level attitude in some areas. Gays serving openly. Sure, and a lot are going to get the sh*t beat out of them and they are going to keep it quiet. Because if they tell, it will just get worse. Some parts of the military are the worst for bullying. YOU MARIO, AND THE REST OF THOSE LIBERAL HOLLYWOOD ELITISTS ARE ASSH*LES. Before DADT is repealed, I, and probably many others, would like to see you and the rest of liberal hollywood serve for 2 weeks as a PRIVATE, GRUNT, ETC. in the Army or MARINES. Then, and only then, you can give your opinion.

    Right On Jon Stewart!
John McCain has served his country well - but - it is time to go away now!

  6. 6

    Lady friend?

First of All I find it sad.. about how many people listen to the politics of celebrities in general.. also.. I find it funny how liberals hate on McCain when he is one of the more "liberal" Republicans. BUT Cindy McCain is not Flip Flopping on her views. She believes in equality for the Gay Community however, she also Supports her Husbands view on DADT.. that is being a supportive wife

Jon Stewart is supposed to be a comedian. He used to be funny when he took over the Daily Show. I can't stand him now. He can sit in his Park Avenue penthouse and mock middle America and anything that isn't cool with the liberals in Hollywood. He's taking himself way too seriously. He is on Comedy Central, right?

  9. 9

The lesson is if people don't agree with your personal opinions then just keep bullying them until they change their minds or kill themselves

  10. 10

If/When DADT is repealed, it would be at the discretion of a service person to reveal their sexuality, and it's not like they are going to be flaunting anything because homophobia isn't going to disappear overnight.

Any argument that DADT is for the protection of gays in the military is covering up for their own prejudices. DADT is in place to pacify bigots and homophobes who might be made "uncomfortable" if an openly gay person is around them… But, that is their problem!!! Let them rot.

  11. 11

Jon what happened to restoring sanity - are you just another wingnut?!?! How about let the military decide what their rules are. And justfax AMEN!! I trust John McCain's view on the military more than all of Hollywood combined. Jon Stewart was a psychology major from Jersey who was bullied - now he bullies others - JUST LIKE YOU PEREZ

  12. 12

Jon Stewart is a waste of air time on television. Obama loving fucking idiot is all he is! Hey Stewart….SHUT THE FUCK UP and get off of television already you idiot!!!!!

  13. 13

Re: lizzlescrizzle123 – And Cindy McCain is responsible for this, how???? Who put the policy in place? Starts with a C and ends with a T. Someone who can't keep their fingers or cigars out of them.

  14. 14

Retraction: starts with a C and ends with an N but can't keeps his fingers out of something that starts with a C and ends with a T.

    Re: kissmyassobama
On the contrary. Sounds like you've never watched The Daily Show. Jon Stewart regularly criticizes Barack Obama and Democrats, as well as Republicans and the Tea Party. The Daily Show is one of the funniest progams on television. No one is exempt from his hilarious view of our world today.

  16. 16

    haha Brilliant!!

If you're going to serve in the military and risk your life you should be able to be yourself however it makes you happy. DADT limits that, if you're risking you're life day in and day out, being able to just be yourself is the LEAST you should be able to do.

  17. 17

i love all of the ant jon stewart & anti gay sentiment. it just shows how stupid, ignorant and afraid those peolpe are who don't share his humanistic values.
being gay has nothing to do with anything so why does anybody care.
notice how are the funny, talented, and creative people are liberal. must be all of that education and common sense they have. and as usual, jon et al can make their point with humor too.

  18. 18

The people ragging on Stewart, have you ever even watched the show? He definitely criticizes the President and liberals, not just conservatives. Also, if you dislike him so much, don't watch him!!

  19. 19

Guess you're over the promise of no more bullying, huh? I've seen it happening again and this is just another example. As long as someone is liberal and a GaGa, Minaj or Obama worshiper, you make fun of them. So much for factual entries that show no bias. You're such a hypocrite.

  20. 20

Re: TaylorTea – lol… the military doesn't get to decide what ANY of their rules are. Besides, the study they just commissioned stated that 70%… yes 70% of servicepeople support getting rid of DADT. That's the point Stewart is making. McCain keeps moving the bar for repealing it. McCain said when the study came out, if the study indicated it would be ok, he would be all for it. Now, he's backtracking on that. Watch the clip.

Re: lem on – he also bags on Olberman, etc.

  22. 22

the thing is……homophobia sucks and I can't believe this dickhead was almost our pres. Brilliant John Stewart, keep exposing the lies from this heap of Republican trash!

Stewart is rakishly clever X10. This McCain reverse-not-a-reverse was bizarre, and I just read between the lines. I liked what she first said very much.
Everything after that sounded disingenuous and much like scuttling away to me.

  24. 24

Jon Stewart is hilarious. I love him. He picks on everyone. No one's hypocrisy is safe. Bill Clinton passed the DADT policy because of the uproar that was created when he tried to make the military more open to gays. He was stonewalled at every turn. This was the best he could come up with. Again, it's our attitude at home which we impart to our kids who become the gay bullies and the gay military bullies. If we teach our children to respect everyone despite his/her race, religion or sexual orientation, we would not have this problem. But there are homophobes everywhere, teaching their kids to hate anyone who is different. What a shame.

Re: CatsClaw – Well said. It is indeed a learned response, imo.
