Progress Report! Judge Commends Chris Brown For Taking Probation Seriously

We're a little shocked ourselves. These days, it seems no on in Hollywood takes their probation very seriously.

Yesterday, Chris Brown appeared at an El Lay County Courthouse to give a progress report on his probation in the Rihanna abuse case. The judge overseeing his case gave Chris an outstanding review for his work thus far, which includes having completed 581 of his allotted 1,400 hours community service hours. In fact, she was so impressed with his dedication, she reportedly said to him:

"Of all the probationers I have had, no one has done a better job, or been more consistent than you. You are working diligently"

Wow. It's nice to hear that he is owning up to his past digressions and doing the time without complaint or cutting corners. It's a real sign of maturity.

Keep it up, Chris!

Sooo… as girlfriend-abusers go, he's doing great! Let's not forget why he's on probation in the first place. And the vid of him doing roadside community service has him smiling and having a good time.

  2. 2

More than half to go, come back when all of those hours are done. I truly hope that those hours involve sessions with a psychiatrist dealing with the reasons to why he took his frustration out on another human being, with his fists. Community service aint' worth jack if a part of it isn't focused on rehabilitation. If Chris works on that, then maybe he'll become a better person and then maybe he'd never hit someone again.

  3. 3

HE IS DOING SUCH A GREAT JOB! SO PROUD OF HIM ! HE IS TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHAT HE DID AND IS VERY MATURE! GREAT JOB CHRIS !

  4. 4

he knows his actions were wrong. it's shameful for people to hold this over his head indefinitely as though they've never made a mistake (mario)……….he's becoming a man, when he was with retarded rihanna he was still just a boy hence his childish actions.

Dude doesn't want to go to jail for violating probation, big deal. Still doesn't mean he's sorry for what he did just because he's doing his "penance". He just wants his career back. I'm sure he regrets what he did…to his career. But, that's about it. Wife beaters are the lowest. It's just part of who you are - you can't change your genetic makeup. Otherwise I'd be 5'10" and look like Drew Barrymore!

  6. 6

Too bad his career is already dead.

  7. 7

Why are you giving this scumbug sa stage by writing about him?
You encourage people to continue to see him as a celeb.
Nobody should buy this criminal's songs and nobody should give him the time of day anymore.

  8. 8

    Does anyone give a damn?

This is because he didn't do anything. He had a clean record before he met Rihanna, and his record has remained clean since she has been out of his lfe. Rihanna was the train wreck with all the issues. This was a violent " couple" if anything not just Chris, but yet he took the fall like a man should have. I wouldn't have ! He could have beat this case and hung her to dry but he didn't. If it was me she was going under the bus. I would have told the whole truth ! These last two years, we have heard CB did this, CB did that, but we have never heard "Rihanna did" so when she decide to tell the whole story, nevermind…another story. If you ask me Rihanna should have been charged as well. No I am not a CB fan, I probably liked Rihanna more than I liked CB. I know how women can get, been there myself. So I never fell for Rihanna's drama. Not saying CB was innocent they both were to blame. This is what I observed from all this. Even the karma says a lot !

    I'm glad to hear it :) I

Re: Gagalicious_x – to bad you must be out of tune with reality… he currently has two smash hits.. and a remix to one of his hits playing all over the radio air waves… LOL.. but then again.. what would you know.. your a lady gaga fan LMAO

  12. 12

People on here need to let go of the past, it's obvious that he has learned from his mistakes…give the kid a break already!! GOOD JOB CHRIS! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!

  13. 13

Re: Gagalicious_x – Chris' career is not dead, sweetie. His song Deuces hit #1 on the R&B/Hip Hop Billboard chart and stayed there for weeks and it is still in the top 5.I never once doubted that Chris would not comply with what the judge ordered him to do. This is not T.I. we are talking about here.Chris was and is a good kid that got mixed up a horrid situation because of poor judgement. Any of you out there have sons? God forbid, if your son ever ended up in a situation like Chris', I hope for your sake and his that people will have a little bit of mercy on him when he is clearly trying to become a better person.

  14. 14

We'll see how good he's doing once he gets another steady girlfriend. Once an abuser always an abuser. Look at domestic violence statistics. And of course he had a clean record before Rihanna, he was only 19 when he beat the holy living shit out of her. He couldn't have had too many steady girlfriends before her.

  15. 15

Seems like the RiRidiculous one started the fight with her jealousy issues, plus she lied on the interview about never hearing the song he wrote for her. Hard to believe anything that comes out of her big yap. Good job Chris.

  16. 16

OK…. sooo let's look at the song Rihanna and Eminem did together.. "Love the way you Lie".. have you Chris Brown haters even read the lyrics? She likes being beat, she likes being burned,

    "But when it's bad
    It's awful
    I feel so ashamed
    I snap
    Who's that dude
I don't even know his name
    I laid hands on her
I'll never stoop so low again
I guess I don't know my own strength"

then she continues to say how she loves him and loves being burned and tied down and beat….

YAH… if she was TRULY damaged by what chris brown did to her… I doubt she would be singing about it… COME ON..
Rihanna deserved what she got, and she probably liked it… She shows often how irritating she can be…

  17. 17

Retard rihanna lol That's funny!! Keep up the good work CB!!!

  18. 18

yea this is good and all but the bad news is…his career is gonna take a long time to get back to where it was…

  19. 19

Glad he learned his lesson. Time will tell.

  20. 20

Every one stays on chris browns back even though he is trying to do the right thing by taking responsibility for his actions yet charlie sheen a multiple offender has the# 1 comedy in america and no worries. Why is it ok for you people to condemn chris but everybody else gets a pass? As long as this young man keeps his nose clean I will give him another chance.

  21. 21

Re: HOLYJEEBUS – Funny how y'all think it's about Rihanna, it's not. It's about HIM hitting someone to a bloody pulp at such a young age. If that is not corrected, he WILL keep on hitting his women and probably future children. Make no mistake, this isn't about taking sides, it's about not supporting someone who hasn't payed their dues and is not yet rehabilitated. And as for Rihanna being violent, what the hell do you all know about either of them and their personal lives? Apart from what she's told us, that she grew up with a violent father, which would certainly explain why she let Chris get to the point of beating her black and blue, what else do all of you who claim this and that about her? It's so funny how some of you actually can blame a woman for getting the shit beat out of her, a man always has a choice -beat someone or walk away. Chris should've walked away. Period.

  22. 22

1400 HOURS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE IS WAY TOO MUCH FOR WHAT HE DID, EVEN IF HE IS BLACK

  23. 23

WHAT HE DID WASNT THAT BAD, HE DOESNT DESERVE ALL THIS LEGAL TROUBLE AND HE WOULDNT HAVE GOTTEN IT IF HE WERENT A CELEBRITY

  24. 24

Re: OhJustPickOne – how do you know what chris will do in the future are you GOD? From what I know the big man upstairs is the only one who is able to predict the future. And plz don't tell me what others have done because that means absolutely nothing here. It could be possible that this young man has learned his lesson and wants to be a better person and as far az him not paying his dues he seems to be doing a good job go me. As a matter of fact the judge says that he is doing an excellent job and her opinion matters

  25. 25

Re: Gagalicious_x – so being# 1 on billboard for 10 weeks straight means your career is over? Wow you could have fooled me I thought that ment you were doing well lol

  26. 26

Re: f*uckurfeelings – You can't be so naive that you think that if you're 19 and solve your frustrations with violence, that if you haven't been taught how to deal with your emotions and impulses and to respect other human beings, that you'll "learn your lesson" after a few hours of picking up trash along the road???

If you read my comment, it was about the need for rehabilitation and the highly likely future of keeping up that behaviour even later in life. So, what others have done has nothing to do with Chris? Behavioural science, psychology and crap like that is I guess just something people made up along with unicorns and santa?

  27. 27

Who cares how he's doing, he's a woman beater and his career should be over forever. Screw Chris Brown.

  28. 28

Do your thing Chris and FUCK the Haters!

  29. 29

Re: OhJustPickOne – chris is in conseling now you idiot

  30. 30

Re: OhJustPickOne – NOPE you're wrong….. This day and age, women thrive on wanting to be treated like men (when it's good for them).. Rihanna OBVIOUSLY ran her big fat mouth, she has one… and they were BOTH FIGHTING EACHOTHER.. soo you know what, too bad for rihanna, she shouldn't have been fighting chris brown either…. she obviously has not been too affected by this as I said before she can SING ABOUT BEING BURNED TO DEATH.. wow she must have truly been affected.. TOO BAD… RIHANNA could have walked away too …. EQUALITY!

Way to go, Chris. Growing up abused doesn't gaurantee that the next generation can't change the pattern. I'm betting that it will stop at Chris. He's showing that he's got an inner strength, and that determination will help him overcome it all.

    32

He's young. His career isn't nearly as important right now as his wellness as a person. With that voice and musical ability, he can always have a career.

  33. 33

Re: Americana2 – your opinion means absolutely nothing lol

  34. 34

Re: f*uckurfeelings – Guess what, yours doesn't matter either. L.O.L.

  35. 35

    Re: Troy22

Great post. He's a good kid. He never was in trouble with the law. We never heard any bad stories about him, and besides the whole thing with Rihanna, we still don't hear any negative stories about him. According to the phony people, he's such a horrible person, but he has no record.

  36. 36

    Re: redmond

Then how come he never abused Rihanna or any of his other girlfriends, huh? Rihanna. Taken fron her Primetime interview: There were never any blacks eyes, bloody noses, none of that. Her own family: Chris Brown never abused Rihanna.

  37. 37

    Re: OhJustPickOne

Rihanna said the restraining order was too much. Chris is so scary!

  38. 38

[re=5455454]Re: OhJustPickOne[ well atleast my opinion is correct while you are blinded by hate. Why do you have to criticize this young man for trying to improve his self? Many kids who grew up around abuse later find them selfs in abusive relationships as adults and that applies to chris and rihanna. Encouragement should be given when a person is trying to turn their life around.

  39. 39

i know someone in the Virginia Police department and he actually has only done a fraction of the hours that have been "logged" for him. the guy that is personally overseeing his community service just makes up things and acts like he did them. in reality has has done a tiny fraction of the hours that he has claimed to. corruption at it's best!

  40. 40

i dont like chris brown that much now and i saw him at the mall and he signed my chickfila cup i sold it for alot of money i love doing that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  41. 41

Charlie Sheen, TI, Mel Gibson, etc repeatedly mess up. Chris Brown did not. He messed up. She forgave him. He's fixing it, the end.
