This is a first!

Tickets to the taping of Inside the Actors Studio with James Franco was in such high demand, show producers had to reject 250 "industry professionals" who were trying to get free tickets to the show. Tickets to the show had sold out almost immediately.

Sources at the show said this was a first in the history of Inside the Actors Studio.

And luckily for fans, James did NOT disappoint. After taping, he "stayed another hour-and-a-half after the taping and talked to every single student and fan who wanted to talk."

According to the source, "No one has done that since Paul Newman…the very first guest that ever appeared on the show."

Wow, whatta guy!!!

And what's even more awesome is that so many girls were screaming for the handsome actor, host James Lipton had to stop the interview to tell the crowd, "17 years filming this show and I've never heard a sound like that before."

Ha!

We'd be screaming too if we were there!

    When does it air?!

  2. 2

He sounds nice and down to Earth! LOVE him!!!!….and his face.

  3. 3

First! I was there and it was not pandemonium. Bradley Cooper was there the week before and it was the same situation. James Franco was nice, but it was not the pandemonium that its being made out to be

    I don't get it.
I have hardly heard a word about this guy in years, and in the past few months he all of a sudden has become God's gift to acting????

I dont get the fascination. Hes weird and way too artsy. And he looked like a Calvin Klein model before (Spiderman) and now with this mustache and the whole happy hippy demeanor he is just strange. A nice and kind dude it would seem but weird and he just does not care about his looks. Which is I suppose commendable. But then again an ugly guy who doesnt care about his looks = ugly. A handsome dude who doesnt care about his looks = charismatic. So he has that.

    Franco is an awesome actor!

this story is so ridiculously exaggerated. i was there. yes, he signed for quite a while after which he always does, but there was NO MASS HYSTERIA. one girl screamed over his welcome applause and a little after. that was it. the taping wasnt stopped either. silliness..

    airs next month sometime.

HE is one hot piece of ass ! And, a REAL man…smart, masculine…different for an actor. Not fruity like George Cloony, Matt Damon, Ben Afleck…ya know what I am say'n. Too me, for him, acting is a sideline…Grrrrwf!

  10. 10

Paul Newman must be rolling over in his grave to be mentioned in the same sentence as this douche captain. Perez, stop giving this asshole publicity!!

Re: joyfulchristy – So, because YOU haven't heard of what someone has been up to means they've been up to nothing? LOL! What a joke.

  13. 13

He gives great interviews. He's smart but also a little "outside the box" in how he looks at things.

  14. 14

Re: Alasen – After seeing the new movie, I can agree he doesnt care about looks. That was the most disturbing shit I ever saw.

  15. 15

I freakin love him!!!! He is amazing and I love that he isn't too caught up in his looks or the fame. I wish I could've been there, but I'll just have to tune in when it airs.

  16. 16

    Love him

Jacktheripper: you think 127 hours was the most disturbing movie?

i like how this is being reported now, when this happened more than a week ago & james lipton has "stopped production before" by this i mean he just tells the audience to stop being loud, coughing, screaming, etc. because it is annoying during editing because they have to cut certain parts of the interview out because of a noise distraction. last year during kate hudson's episode last year, he had to tell the audience to stop coughing. just saying. i love james franco and he's an amazing actor but, this story is way to exaggerated.
