Martha Stewart's daughter, Alexis Stewart, has recently revealed that after years of trying to get pregnant through in vitro treatments she will use a surrogate.

Alexis, who co-hosts the Hallmark Channel show Whatever With Alexis and Jennifer with Jennifer Koppelman Hutt, has been very vocal about her desire for a child. She has even spent a whopping $27,000 a month for the past two years on fertility treatments!!

Alexis divorced her husband in 2004, and told People in 2007, "I'm single now, but having my own kid is the most important thing in my life, so I am trying everything I can: fancy doctors, expensive drugs, high-tech procedures…"

Along with her desire for kids, Alexis says that mama Martha is desperate for grandchildren. Alexis explains, "my mom's just desperate. She has wanted grandchildren forever . . . She's always like, 'For my birthday, I would like you to be pregnant.' And I'm like, 'Me, too!' "

We wish you all the luck bb!!

This Dyke doesn't want ANY man that can steal her mama's fortune from her through her baby.

How about picking up some guy in a bar, sleeping with him, and NOT telling him you're knocked-up?

I finally found out about Chinese medicine after spending $$$ on failed fertility treatments. Acupuncture and herbal teas did the trick within months!

Haven't these people ever heard of adoption? There are millions of kids out there who just want a loving family, yet so many people selfishly think that any kid who's not biologically their own kid is not good enough.

Be careful what you ask for. She might not sleep for twenty years.

Alexis you spend so much money on having a baby and won't adopt. What do you think adopted babies have 3 heads and problems. Are you afraid you won't pass the background check? Shame on you if it is true. You want a baby so bad well adopted babies want a mommy so badly too.

Re: Austin TX – SHUT UP. THAT IS THE LAST THING SHE SHOULD DO. DO YOU KNOW WHO GIVES UP BABIES FOR ADOPTION? CRACK WHORES AND SLUTS. ADOPTED BABIES HAVE A.D.D., FETAL ALCOHOL SYNDROME, SCHIZOPHRENIA AND ARE VERY VIOLENT. THEY FLUNK OUT OF SCHOOL AND STEAL YOUR MONEY AND MAKE YOUR LIFE HELL. IF SHE HAS A SURROGATE AT LEAST SHE KNOWS THE BABY HAS DECENT GENETICS AND SHE CAN BE SURE ITS A WHITE BABY

Soon children will only be for the rich. Regular people can't afford to spend fucking $27,000 a month on fertility drugs. Where I live, you can't do gestational surrogacy - only full surrogacy using another woman's eggs. I'm not capable of having children either, but because I'm a regular working stiff, I can't afford to go the route these rich bitches can. I'm forced into a life of depression because of my inability to have children - and my husband has "super-sperm". He's not happy about our situation either, but after spending all of our own savings, and those of all of our parents, on an unsuccessful round of IVF we simply can't afford another round. It's ridiculous. These services should be covered by insurance plans, or they should at least have an insurance plan that you can buy that will help out with infertility drugs and IVF treatments. Whatever. Everyone who has kids tends to regret them anyways, so I guess I'm lucky.
