Eva Longoria Plans To Adopt Without Tony?

Although we can't even begin to imagine how difficult the divorce from her husband Tony Parker must be right now, sources close to Eva Longoria are maintaining that the actress still wants to be a mother, and is looking to adopt a child from Haiti!
Insiders explain:
‘Eva had her heart set on adopting a child from Haiti. She so wants to be a mother. She wanted to adopt with Tony, but she’s happy to go ahead as a single parent and is very excited after what’s been a dark period.’

We think that in light of the all the children in need of loving homes out there, she's being so selfless to look beyond her own pain and still focus on what's important to her!

It's not brave. It would be brave if she decided to continue plans to adopt as a middle-class working woman. As a very rich woman, this is not a brave act. It is commendable, sure, but as someone who can afford around-the-clock help, adopting a child is both brave.
Way too soon to make such a decision! Nice thought but remember all the kids in the US that need homes too. Not everyone needs to buy children like designer purses like Angie and Madonna.

When the average person tries to get over a divorce, they eat, or go to a gym, or hang out with friends.. when a famous person does, they just buy a baby?
She won't be lonely, at least. As long as she is doing it because she is ready and capable of raising a baby on her own, the good for her!

Why not adopt from the country she is living in? There are tons of babies or children here in the US that need loving homes. I guess you dont get as much publicity or credit when you adopt a child here, but when you do it elsewhere youre a saint. pathetic.
Selfless? Brave? Jesus, Perez, stop sucking up so much. There are millions of people out there who adopt children every day under all circumstances. And there are millions of people going through difficult divorces. She's no better and no more important than those who don't leak news like this. I can think of a whole list of people far more deserving of praise than Longoria. Grow up already.
I agree with UrMajestyMsG. This is EXACTLY what Sandra Bullock did when Jesse's cheating came to light.

With that being said, what Eva is doing is ridiculous and discredits her tremendously. Now, I don't feel so bad for her. Get a divorce and adopt a child? What is that image suppose to do for her? Why not get pregnant? Or adopt from this country? I don't understand the need to adopt from another country and "save the world".

If adopting a US baby in USA is as difficult (and extremely long) as is adopting a Canadian child in Canada, no wonder you adopt from Haiti or China. That's what we did when we were told the average waiting time to adopt was between 5 to 10 years.
Adoption laws in the US is laughable but regardless whether she adopts here or oversees, bottomline, a child is getting a better life.
Best of luck Eva! I hope this was already planned in the process. Children need to b loved and they are are great responsibility one they you have to love. I am wishing her the best of luck. I hope she is doing this for HERSELF.
In light of the children in need.. adopt? yea.. how about adopt from our own country. We have PLENTY of children who need homes and loving families.. but all these celebrities want to adopt from other countries to feel better about themselves. I love Eva.. but I just wished she would choose to adopt a child on our own soil..
