Only $64 million to go to break even!

Broadway's new musical Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark, sold more than $1 million worth of tickets within 24 hours of its first preview performance Sunday.

"We’re thrilled to finally be performing this terrific show for audiences, and we’re excited that the audiences are coming in droves," said producer Michael Cohl.

And despite the technical difficulties, audiences are still excited to see the show! Let's just hope they can keep up with their weekly running cost of $1 million.

Yikes!

Well, seeing as the running cost is 1 million a week. They have A LOT more than 65 million to break even…

Re: Drewboy85 – You beat me to it. These people amuse me. In this day of instant electronic communication… Anyone has heard this project already cost $65 mil. to date with a running tab of a fricken million $ a WEEK additional. Now they're bragging for propaganda that they sold $1 million in tickets this week. And they have (want) to do another 40 preview showings. They're like the bingo player… you hear all about their ONE win a year, but never about their other disappointing 51 wasted Friday nights at the bingo hall.

People love a good disaster. That's why NASCAR is so popular.

People that watch Spiderman on Broadway are the people that get made fun of and deserve it. Sorry.

Outside of U2 itself, everything Bo-Bo gets involved in seems to turn out a financial disaster. Now even his country is going bankrupt…. feel sorry for Ireland though, nice people over there
