There's been all types of news of celebs joining the new Muppets movie, but unfortunately it looks like one we were excited about will NOT be part of the cast.
Paul Rudd has announced to the world the very sad news that we will not see him interacting with Muppets on the big screen next Christmas. Boo!
Here's what he had to say about it:
"I wish that I was. It's all rumor. I wanted to be in it, and I talked to Jason, but I think there was some things that happened and I don't know if I'm gonna get to do it."
More from Rudd:
"I'm hoping for the Muppet Movie 2. I'm playing Charles Grodin in Muppet 2: Electric Waterloo? Beaker-loo? Muppet Movie 2: The Muppets Are Still Taking Manhattan."
LOLs! We're glad to see you taking it so well, Paul!
We'll look forward to seeing your interpretation of Muppet Movie-era Charles Grodin in an inevitable sequel!
How are U coping with the loss of Paul Rudd as a Muppets cast member?
